Nice place for Indian food. The dishes weren’t bad, but the quality and the flavor for the money weren’t quite there.

Food is great but the takeout packaging is truly truly horrible. Might as well wrap the curry in paper towels. These things make all the difference & it totally ruined my meal.

Authentic taste and spiciness. I am a fan of their pickle sides they serve with stuffed Parathas. Even with delivery, the order is always sizzling hot. Their Rasmalai is on point, and the Mango Lassi is the best cold sweet drink with spicy foods. Highly recommended!P.S. It is NOT expensive for what they offer.

Their vada-pav is to die for. I can eat their vada pav everyday and still cant get enough.

This was amazing !!! My new favorite place. If you are thinking about ordering from here, GO!!!!!!!P.s the photo was taken when the food was cold. I didn’t receive the food cold it was nice and hot ! I just wanted to wait til I got home to enjoy it?

Indian version of Chipotle. This is the simple way to put-in Tikkaway. To go place for me, Everytime I think of lunch.Veg Samosa, Samosa chat are also good along with bowls.Would love to see more flavors from Tikkaway

One of my favorite places. Indian served Chipolte style, but with better flavor

First time but not the last time. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us around the menu. We decided on Papdi Chaat. My 10yo son and I loved the flavor. The dining room is bright AND CLEAN Our Order was done in minutes but tasted like it took a while to cook

This is one of my favorite spots and I drive out of my way just to come here. I have never had anything disappointing.I still need to try more but the build your own is always great, and also tastes even better as leftovers. I also find it very easy to have a vegan meal here - which I end up doing just because I avoid eating dairy. The samosas are perfectly flaky and have a nice slightly spicy filling - not the dry stuff I am use to.The iced ginger chai is one of my favorite drinks ever. The mulligatawny soup is delicious.Like I said - never have had a bad meal here. My favorite casual spot in New Haven.

I love the food in this place, I have gone there three times since I moved to new haven and each time my order was messed up, I go in person to place my order and every time I ask for extra rice, extra sauce and and extra on whatever else I get, the cashier always have a attitude when I ask for extra, the second time I went there I was told they can’t give extra, I personally don’t think it should be a issue if I’m spending my money for extra topping. I’ve given them three chances, I will not be taking my business and hard earned money to their establishment. I gave them three try’s and was not satisfied. They need to talk to the cashier.
