We visited New Haven for summer camp. We came here almost everyday. My 14 years old daughter loves their boba tea.
Super yummy milk teas, fresh fruit teas & more ! Good service & nice sitting area. They even have stamp cards for every 10 teas you get a free one. This is one of 3 locations. They’re great ! Totally obsessed.
My kids and I are absolutely addicted to The Whale Tea! Every tea and boba we've ordered has been beyond excellent and NEVER dissapoints!The Brown Sugar Milk Tea (pictured), Strawberry Fresh Milk, Oreo Creme Brulee and Passionfruit Fruit Tea are just some of our favorites!Definitely recommend! ?❤

I've never been more disgusted with a milk tea than when I had the taro creme brulee milk tea at The Whale Tea in New Haven. I have had drinks here before and they were wonderful, works of art really. But this...this takes the cake; it was despicable. At first glance, it looked sculpted by the hands of the boba gods but once I tried it, BLEGH! Never ever in my life have I ever had such a revolting taste of curdled milk, soggy cookies, and crunchy boba in my mouth before. I paid a solid $8 dollars for this atrocity. RUN HIDE, NEVER COME HERE!!
Worst bubble tea I've ever had. I've gone to so many before in CT and NY..I ordered 4 with my boyfriend to try 3 and one other to see if it was any better. One of their popular milk teas (blue crystal) a taro tea (I get every time I stop at a bubble tea spot) and the creme Brule one. I wanted to spit it out as soon as I tasted it. It was gritty and the only flavor I tasted was milk... it was like I was drinking a gritty glass of whole milk. No hint of taro or tea in it at all.
Honestly one of the best spots in New Haven. They have contact less ordering or the option to speak to someone directly. Service is quick and friendly and the drinks are delicious.
All their teas are exquisite and delicious! I have never had better, I highly recommend them!
My boyfriend’s brother brought us here because he knew we loved boba tea, and I’m so glad that he did! I chose the strawberry fresh milk on this visit, and I couldn’t believe how fresh the strawberries were. It had such a great flavor and was like a thinner strawberry milkshake! The Thai and brown sugar milk teas were also great. I saw some really unique flavors on the menu that I want to try next time, like Oreo creme brûlée. The shop was very clean, and the staff was friendly!
