Cute little place, it has acai bowls, smoothies but also toast and different snacks. They told me everything was gluten free. I wanted to know if their oats were certified gf, so they called someone and told me they were. Staff wasn’t really well trained on gluten or their ingredients, but they were willing to inform elsewhere and maybe they just started when I got there. I felt assured enough to order (have celiac/gluten allergy)I got a almond butter acai bowl that was delicious. Downside was that the acai bowl wasn’t properly mixed, got some big frozen chunks of strawberry still in there. But overall good experience.
Upon walking into the facility, no one greeted me to ask what my order was or to even address myself as a customer with a “hello how can I help you!” When I stood waiting for my order the female was no where near pleasant! Placed my order on the counter and still did not say anything, she just placed my order on the counter and walked away! I don’t recommend this place at all! Your better off taking the time to make your own smoothies at home! The girl roll her eyes at me after asking her if my I came off wrong or something, why did I not get a greeting from anyone beats me ??♀️
The vegan clam chowder was sooooooo good! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Honestly this smoothie was not that good. Also the girl at the cashier was so rude and made me feel uncomfortable.
Definitely the best smoothie bowls in New Haven hands down. They have somewhat less of a variety than lifebowls but the quality is SO MUCH better, and the prices are much better than at SolBol.
This is where I started my açaí bowl journey. I love their avocado toast and their smoothies are really tasty
Great smoothies, I usually go for the #6. The juice and the little juice shots are also amazing. The shots are strong but I really like them. Everything is vegan, except for some things with honey and bee pollen, so check for that if it’s your thing. Ingredients are well labeled. My go to spot for a quick and tasty protein and nutrient source when I am on the run.
I enjoyed one of their money freshly squeezed juices as well as their Avocado Toast. They even have several options of Acai bowls to select from. Definitely a must stop for me whenever I am near!
I LOVE Juice Box. The only problem I have is the straws that they give you but other than that, the smoothies are incredible.
The spinach, kale, mango, banana, almond milk smoothie was a refreshing post-workout snack! Regular prices are pretty expensive so keep an eye out for their deals on Snackpass. You can get 30% off if you order with a friend. I also wish that they published the nutrition facts for their standard drink orders like other health-forward shops such as Smoothie King.
