As a big Chinese foodie, I adore this place!!! Originally started coming here for their noodle soups in 2020, which are exquisitely flavourful and very authentic. The beef noodle soup is my go-to, especially in the winter. They’ve also recently started serving more menu items, including clay pot dishes, and this minced pork and chive flowers with salted black beans, which is my new favorite. The ambience is really cozy and the interior is well decorated. Can’t believe this place isn’t more popular! One of my absolute favorite spots to satisfy my Chinese cravings in New Haven.
I’m repeatedly impressed by the food here! My go-tos are the chong qing noodles and the minced pork with chive flower. This is an easily overlooked New Haven gem, highly recommend!
Braised beef brisket and wonton Soup smell and taste nasty . Pork wonton and fried dumplings is good .
Best Dumplings I have ever had, the food is always good, but I did have a poor experience with an incorrect order. But aside from that it’s a great place to eat with friends and family.
Stopped by for some dumplings and soup on a whim. Service was quick, there was no wait at all to dine in. We were really pleased with the braised beef soup, it was moderately spicy and had nice flavor, noodles had nice chew. The pork soup dumplings were excellent as were the beef dumplings. They were served super fresh straight in the bamboo steamer. This is quality, genuine Chinese food, it's in a different league compared to the typical "general tso's" type of Chinese food. We will definitely be going back to try more items from the menu.
Great dim sum, cute place, lovely staff.I wish they had a liquor license, but that's all I can ask for.
This used to be a regular place I went to. Something weird happened. The food all changed for the worst. They've become super cheap on dishes and I probably won't be back again. If you're going after 2021 you will not be eating the delicious dishes it started with. It's not just one dish, all dishes I usually order have underwent serious changes and taste terrible now. I would give 1 star but the server is a solid super nice dude.
It was my first time here and I was really impressed. I truly enjoyed everything that I ordered and it is at an affordable price for the area. I will definitely be going back.
Just picked up soup dumplings. Pretty good but skin was a bit thick. No one compares to joes in NYC but we keep trying.
The guys at the cashier is deaf or something i have to repeat 4 time for everything i said . Ask him if i can dine in or no he said no ? All the reviews pictures it in the restaurant so trash and i ask him if i can sit on the chair and wait for my order he didn’t answering me trash closed dow already nasty attitude
