The pizza is amazing. They have a great outdoor space, where they also allow dogs ♥️

My only experience with Sally's was better than any recent experience I've had with Pepe's. Been a longtime fan of Pepe's but my mind might have been changed. The pies are so similar, but the sauce at Sally's was better.Given this was my first visit, I decided to sit inside to experience the ambiance. It's old school pizza place and it doesn't look like anything's changed in decades.Pizza was great, service was good.

Just moved to Connecticut about a week ago. Heard we needed to check out New Haven for some great pizza. Holy cow, they were not wrong. We got to Sally's on Sunday about 15 minutes after they opened. We had to wait 30 minutes or so to get a table. I can imagine you'd have to wait even longer for dinner. Whatever the wait is, it is absolutely worth it. The pizza was amazing, we had a pepperoni, potato & rosemary, a white pizza, and took a sausage pizza home! Everything was incredible, the potato pizza was excellent, never had it before but I would recommend getting a small pizza to try it. The charred crust and dough are so delicious it's hard to put into words, if you have the time, you HAVE to eat here. The staff was great, super friendly and very helpful with it being our first time eating there.I can't wait to go back!

I heard about this place on America's Song Contest (thanks Michael Bolton!) so when I was traveling through the area I had to stop in New Haven to check it out. We went during lunchtime and there was a line outside. We waited about twenty minutes or so before a seat opened up inside. The restaurant is small but they pack a lot of booths in there. We got a pepperoni and bacon pizza which was great. They had small slices of bacon and not just crumbles. The pizzas are so big you can get away with a smaller size than you think you'll need. They don't have Coke or Pepsi, they support a local soft drink company which is cool. We tried the canoli pie which wasn't bad, but not something we would get again. Overall, we enjoyed it and would recommend it for the historical significance of the place and the authentic vibe.

Awesome! New Haven style (thin crust that starts soft then gets more crusty as you get to the edges) was great. Personally like my pizza with a little more sauce, and this was the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese for me. The sauce flavor itself was phenomenal. 100% will come back!

The tomato and mozzarella pizza was great, especially the sauce. I’m not a fan of the burnt edges, but I know that’s their thing and not a mistake. It’s a bit too thin to hold any heavier ingredients like sausage, so keep that in mind when ordering.

Sally’s on Wooster Street has always been spectacular. We recently got pies from the new Stamford location. Bottom line: Don’t even bother. The pies were one step above inedible.

WOW Best Pizza on Earth!!! From the hostess to the pizza to the wait staff what a experience. Pizza was a piece of art !! If there was 1 food I could have for the rest of my life it would be a Sally’s pizza !

At 4:30 pm the online pickup order took 90 minutes to complete and was 30 minutes late. Pizza came out cold. This restaurant is way over rated. Choose a different place.

Unless the eatin pizzas have gone down hill too, the mail order ones were not very good! When I saw the Sally's was offering mail order pizza's, I imediately ordered some. It took 6 weeks to get them and i eagerly awaited their arrival. What a disappointment they were. Thin as could be and not tastey at all. My wife said it was like matza with kectup on it. I've had a lot better frozen pizzas from the super market.
