We had a wonderful evening omakase with Chef Jason tonight. He was very friendly and engaging and it was a pleasure to watch him work. The fish and presentation here are light and very fresh, letting the ingredients speak for themselves. We have ordered to go several times, but this was our first time eating at the counter. We will definitely be back.

I'm 76, and I know raw fish. The chef was great and friendly and I even learned something!I had one roll which he rolled in front of me and presented to me, so it could not sit around and get cold or soggy!I had almost nothing but sashimi and spent over $50 for lunch there (without drink) and it was well worth it. The scallop and eel melted in my mouth! All of it was perfect and very impressive. The menu is a bit limited and the sushi is Nigiri. I couldn't have been more satisfied!Image is of dessert, which changes weekly, and comes from a very creative dessert chef. When I first saw it I thought someone had put their cigarettes out in a drink. Those are sticks of freeze dried cream with bits of red peppercorns. Red is strawberry jam and the yellow-green is a mousse made with lime and mint. And amazingly creative dessert and quite delicious.

Where have you gone for sushi? It's time to really taste the fish instead of drowning in all the sauce and rice from regular rolls. There is a difference when comparing quality, texture and taste of the fish. Get there early to get a seat in front of the chef. If you sit at the other tables, you will have to order off the takeout menu. Pick out one of their sakes that they offer. Bushido "Way of the Warrior" sake is a good one that pairs well with the sushi. I order the omakase premium which is the best to try an assortment of sushi and handrolls. There are also specials available which are listed on their board.

The Yellowtail and Sea Bream were quite tasty. The Mackerel, on the other hand, was very bitter and fishy, and the Cuttlefish was not seared like the website photos depicted. I think it would have tasted much nicer if it had been seared. The salmon roll was tasty, but not necessarily mind-blowing like other reviews suggested. The tamago was the clear favorite, soft and sweet, followed by the BBQ eel, which was perfectly cooked. Considering the high prices, I will likely only return for the tamago.

Quite possibly the best sushi I’ve ever had. Chef Jason’s Omakase was an incredible experience. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates a unique culinary experience in a really cool setting.

Got take-out sushi for my family. The fish was fresh and the take-out packaging was cute and elegant. First time here and was charmed by the upscale food court setting. Would love to come back again.

Great Omakase menu for a great price. All the pieces were delicious!

the best sushi around! Hands down the freshest fish, I will definitely be back soon. Love the convenience of the boxed sushi all together. So great to have Rick's bar there as well with delicious Sake options.

wow absolutely amazing from start to finish. The food, the service, and the experience was impeccable. First off every bite was exceptional, really a step way above most great restaurants. second everyone there was outstanding really felt like they all enjoyed their job and wanted to provide excellent service. Anytime i thought i wanted something i’d turn and someone would ask. Jason the chef mirrored all his coworkers; personable, friendly, and willing to share his knowledge if you seemed interested. That all made the best experience. Each time they brought out another piece they described it and had recommendation on how to eat and did so in a non pretentious way. I kind of felt like I paid for a personal sushi tasting and not just sitting down at a restaurant but also feel like staff was so attuned to what you wanted that if we wanted to keep to ourselves they would of been okay with that.

My experience here led me to write my first ever review - one of the best meals of my life. Chef Tay redefined what sushi means to me and along the way complemented our meal with stories from his life. An unforgettable dinner!
