Rice pot is very cute little Thai restaurant. They do have lunch specials . I love the most is the sizzling tofu. They have parking spots as well.

One of the best take out Thai experiences I’ve had in a long time. Another place that I’d heard good things about wasn’t picking up their phone so I gave this place a try. Glad I did. Ordered online and delivered on time. But here’s the real kicker - this place is a hidden gem. No need to look further for great take out.

Don’t even think about getting Thai food anywhere other than The Rice Pot in New Haven. I highly recommend the seafood curry but you won’t be disappointed no matter what you order. Delicious.

Rice Pot is my favorite Thai restaurant in New Haven. There are so many good choices to pick from from their menu that sometimes I can’t make up my mind. But I always get impressive recommendation from a waitress who is very friendly and helpful. This time I told her that I was craving for noodle, not spicy, so she recommended me Pad Thai, a good combination of sweet and savory noodle with chicken. I have tried so many noodle dishes, but Pad Thai at Rice Pot reminded me of My trip in Thailand.

When I am craving for Thai food, I always go to Rice Pot as they never disappoint me - good food, good service, what more could you ask for? Yesterday, I had Pad Thai and Papaya Salad. OMG!! They were so so good - my mouth is watering while typing this. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I'm so sad..... ? No flavor in my laarb. I literally had to add my own fish sauce, agave and lemon juice. Where was the FLAVOR? The coconut soup also a let down. I'll have to doctor that up too. The variety of vegetables was good and it wasn't overly spicy, but when we said low spice that didn't mean, no flavor.... Won't be returning sadly.

Reading the reviews I had high hopes for this place.. but was disappointed when I ordered take out and upon arriving home my drunken noodles were bare and hardly had any sauce. Certain bites consisted of noodles stuck to each other and tasted like raw dough. Overall a disappointing experience and I won't be going back. Koon Thai a mile or so away has better food. Save your money.

So authentic Thai food! Rice Pot is my favorite Thai restaurant in town. Really love their Pad Thai and Thai curry. Great food and great service! The price is so reasonable! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who love real Thai food.

cashew stir fry was barely edible. The vegetables were really overcooked, the tofu was soggy with frying oil, and cashews should not have the consistency of cooked carrots. chicken satay was decent, but that's a low bar.

I went for the first time last night for dinner. The food was excellent in quality & taste. The portions were huge & the price was very reasonable. I took my leftovers home and enjoyed it all over again today. I’d def recommend it and I look forward to going back.
