The lady was aggressive and racist and started making mock of me several times. long time wait for pick up and she don’t care. Avoid buying from the 35 Whalley Ave New Haven store.
Popeyes chicken does not taste like the original Popeyes recipe the way it used to be this is the 2nd time I've been there in 6 months it hasn't changed. The chicken has no seasoning it's very BLAND TASTING. Popeyes used to have that taste that was better than all the other fast foods that sold chicken. POPEYES NEED TO GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL RECIPE. EVEN THE FRENCH FRIES WAS LOUSY & TASTELESS!!!!

They let chicken stay under light way after timer to replace it is out. I asked employee for fresh chicken and she still gave me almost dried out chicken. They were laughing and playing talking personal business while ignoring customers while we stood at register. One named Ashley was holding another cashier up talking about inappropriate stuff. She seems slow so I didn’t want to say anything. Manager should have been supervising her. Been coming here three years, never again. Don’t waste ya money at this location. Stay away!
I ❤️ POPEYES. This location is a disgrace to the franchise. Very slow, unorganized and DIRTY. While I was waiting to place my order, glanced over the counter and the floor was disgusting! I must say the day shift isn't that bad. But, the night manager and crew ??going forward, I am going to Kimberly Ave's POPEYES
Normally I love Popeye's for it's spicy chicken sandwich. This location is not up to the usual standards.
I have been here for 20 minutes the lady at the front she can’t remember anything she keep asking costumer’s there order manager in the back not doing anything. Should be up front help when is so busy obviously she need help
This is the worst Popeyes I ever been too. The workers are unprofessional, extremely slow, lack energy and knowledge of their job description.The workers are young and lack knowledge to serving people food in a timely manner! They talk to each other while taking orders! And one the the female workers looks as if she is high or on drugs.I would highly not recommend getting food from this location. Convenience seems nice but it is not worth the bad service!!!! They need to hire better workers instead of hiring any and everybody, Especially when your handling food!!!! Manager at whalley Popeyes,do a better job and hire better people. I’m 100% sure your service will sky rocket once you get rid of the bad apples! Until then I would not recommend anyone to spend their money at this location!
Manager on Duty Jazon was very rude, as I told him and showed him my order confirmation. He told me I’d have to cancel order and I then told him that it wouldn’t let me cancel order. I showed him my Receipt, my bank account being deducted and my purchase on app. He still wouldn’t help and told me to cancel my order, after telling him several times it wouldn’t let me cancel order. I then told him to call his manager. I will not be coming back here anymore. After all that he told me he had no biscuits. VERY BAD SERVICE.
Always check your food here.My last visit wasn't good but was resolved by a manager which made me give 3stars.Most of the employees were unprofessional and I witnessed alot of mistakes being made.I was missing a pc of chicken,and my fries were dark and greasy which meant they were reheated in grease and I was disgusted.I was glad I checked my food before leaving due to dissatisfaction until the manager stepped in and gave me fresh fries and missing chicken which resolved the issue.They really need to do better and train employees better.
