Food and drinks were very good. Some ofThe best pasta in New Haven. Only thing is the service. The servers themselves are very nice but the two servers are spread very thin with how busy they are and it seems like that’s a regular occurrence on the weekends. They are running around frantically which isn’t fair to them or the customers. We put in a pizza order that was completely forgotten about. Drinks also took a very long time because the same servers were making the drinks. Management, help your servers and if you fix this, your restaurant will be the best Italian restaurant in New Haven.

The food here was very good. My boyfriend got the pasta Genovese which was amazing. The beef was so tender. I got the short rib ravioli. Also very good and the sauce was loaded with meat as well, but a bit salty. We did feel a bit rushed when we first got there. It was 9:10 on a Saturday and we were told they could seat us but the kitchen closes soon so we would have to order quickly. I understand having worked in a restaurant before but it said they were open until 10pm and there were many tables still there. Would have liked to order a salad or appetizer but didn’t for this reason, maybe next time. Our server was very nice, though she did not know if she could make us change which was a bit odd. We ended up just leaving it as it ended up being ~33% tip and didn’t want to make a fuss. We were out by 9:40.

I had their carbonara which was amazing. So nice to try it being made the correct way, without cream. My husband had the short rib ravioli which came with a delicious slightly spicy red sauce. We loved all of it. Also even though my husband and I were a little underdressed for a proper date day, our server was incredibly courteous to us and likeable.

Pasta Eataliana hosted my group for a very lovely dinner. Every single person loved their food and the service was very fast! We are so grateful to the management here for creating such a lovely atmosphere for our event. The outdoor dining area in the back is also very spacious and comfortable. This is my second dining experience with them and I definitely recommend!

Somebody commented below saying this is the best Italian they’ve had outside Italy. Now I’ve never been to Italy but I’m sure they’re right because the food here is breathtaking.

The food was absolutely amazing.I would have given 5 stars but Our waiter forgot a couple items and couldn’t remember who had what. We also felt rushed and could tell the staff wanted to leave. But the food was well worth it.

The service was impeccable and the food fantastic.

Six of us had lunch there. Everything we ate was awesome, the best octopus I've ever had! Mario who served us was extremely accommodating and attentive. Can't wait to return and try some other dishes.

Magnificent. Too much food but everything good and tasty. The short rib Ravi pasta rates 10/10!!! Nice fresh vegetables. Lovely carbonara that could use a drop more flavor and potato croccche appetizer get thumbs upStaff was lovely. Place was clean. Nice cloth napkins. Wish they didn’t give tin to go boxes. I find they leave a taste in the sauce. One of our new favorite places.Go to Libby’s before for a cannoli.

I have read multiple posts from friends saying how great this restaurant is so four of us decided to head there for dinner last night. Although it was a bit cold outside, we did sit outside under the large covered tent with heaters. The food and drinks were absolutely perfect from start to finish. Our server Yahaira was awesome. What a fabulous personality and so attentive! We will definitely be back! We will also tell our family & friends about our wonderful experience. Thank you!
