Jerk tofu was really good, Mac was ok , I do not recommend getting the dumplin. I'm gonna go again and see how everything else is, on the menu. Sadly they only make chicken drumsticks some days , but they said they update thier menu daily so make sure to check the menu before ordering instead of ordering what you see in the reviews.
I live in the neighborhood, and there are plenty of options to choose from, yet I find myself here almost everyday. Excellent fresh food and the friendliest people. If I ever leave New Haven, I'll miss this place the most.

Owners were making fun of a customer trying to purchase items with EBT card. They said something like, since we added seating we no longer take EBT. Pretty scummy.

The food was AMAZING! You have to try the jerk tofu, the brown stew chunks, the mac and cheese, hell TRY EVERYTHING! Food was ready at the promised time, prices are right in line with the portion. I cannot wait to go back!
