Really loved this place. Pizza was very good as was the staff. Owner gave us a nice treat of fettachinni with spinach and shrimp as a teaser. Well worth it. Tasty and cooked perfectly.On a pizza review (David Portnoy, One Bite, being the standard review scale), this place was definitely in the 8.5 - 8.9 out of ten. Really good stuff.This is a great first date/last date kind of place. Wished I lived closer..Well done Doug!
Not five because the gluten free not only costs more but is quite a bit smaller. Although delicious and I do enjoy their gluten free option for at least pizza I do sometimes get a little sad it's so small now.
Next Door is my new go-to! Tried the clam casino pizza tonight. It was so, so good! Full of clams, bacon and just enough garlic and spices. I will definitely be back!!
A worthy rival to the famous big three New Haven pizza parlors. Good crust, toppings. Comfortable and traditional atmosphere. Easy parking. You'll have a good experience.
LOVE their pizza. I’ve tried the eggplant rollatini, mashed potato & bacon, and brussel sprout pizza which were all phenomenal. Their caesar salad is also special. 5/5
Looking for a place to get out of the car, eat and rest before continuing up the east coast on a road trip. This place was absolutely great! The food was excellent, fresh and healthy! The owner and his crew were friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a casual place with good food and friends you didn’t know you had then this is the place for you!
4.8 Stars!Corey is the best waiter I’ve gotten a chance to serve me. Informative, Friendly, & has amazing foresight. He was able to understand our needs and guess our next move.The Pizza is Better than Sally’s and On par with Pepe’s. The sauce was a little less pasty and more loose. I had a fresh mozzarella for the first time and I LOVED it.We also ordered a Pepperoni Pizza but the fresh Moz was soo good there was no looking back.Quiet, simple, & quick are words if use to describe the atmosphere/ambience/service.The Brussel sprouts were the best of the best.I love Pizza & I love this Place.
I tried this two times. Margarita was good but white clam was a bit tasteless compared to other pizza places in town.
One pizza one salmon entree for take out. When we got there the pizza was done but they're still cooking the salmon. By the time we got home the pizza had gone cold... The place makes good food, but the time management needed help.
By far my favorite pizza spot in new haven! I travel here from Meriden all the time and have brought several of my friends here. it’s worth the drive ?
