We didn't make dinner reservation, but we were early enough that they were able to have us. One appetizer and 2 entrees and they were all great, and they were not the typical dishes from the other Mediterranean restaurants. Will return to try their other dishes on the menu.
The servers are generally very helpful in negotiating food allergies. There are at least 1-2 gluten free options each for appetizers, entrees, and desserts. All the food I've tried here has been divine! My favorite meal here is stuffed grape leaves to start, vegetable moussaka, and baked milk custard for dessert!
My family and I came to this restaurant for the first time today and we had such a wonderful time here! The waiter gave us excellent service and the food was so flavorful and delicious. The patio is very clean and spacious. We ended our time with the most delicious knafeh and baklava ever! Thank you so much for such a great experience! We will be back soon!
We ate here late on a Tuesday evening and loved it. The arugula salad I ordered and chicken and vegetable dish (red peppers, onions, sauce) my husband ordered were great. The salad was plated nicely and was enough for a meal for me. We especially appreciated their large outdoor eating area with tables widely spaced apart. The wooden base for the patio is inside the corner of a parking lot but if you look toward the street side with iron fence, brick columns and trees overhead, you don’t notice the parking lot. The car sounds passing by can get lively, but hey, you’re in a city. We watched the moon come out as we had rooibos orange tea at the end of the evening. Would give Midpoint Istanbul 6 stars if we could.
Happened to show up at this restaurant and hit an absolute jackpot. The yogurt Adana had such gorgeous flavor. We also ordered Kafta and the mixed grill. All amazing. The best part though was the kunefe. Had it with Turkish coffee. To die for!
The food was outstanding. Me and my wife visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day.
Had the Lamb Shish which was perfectly cooked. Tender and perfectly seasoned. We also had the Muever which was delicious, kind of like a potato pancake. And the best part was the Baklava. It was the best Baklava I ever tasted-moist, sweet, with a little crunch. Definitely melts in your mouth. If I wasn’t so full with everything else I would of ordered a second Baklava. The waiter was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere was romantic. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend trying.
The food was delicious, we had turkish coffee, chicken shish, falafel and yogurt..it was a treat!
Since COVID, there has been few occasions that I ate in a restaurant and I was thankful that quality and service was still existent!I had a pleasure of dinning at Midpoint late Sunday night. Food was great: hearty and delicious. Restaurant is elegant and modern. The service was also great.I recommend this restaurant and I hope you enjoy your food as much as I did.
We had the tapas which included the standard, hummus, olives, tarama, chilli, etc served with pita bread. The portions were smallish but sufficient. I had the mixed grill and my wife the prawns as mains. Both were delicious. The owners/managers/ chefs are really friendly and helpful. Please, please Americans the main course is not called entree. Entre (Entree) is French which actually means "enter/ come in". It signifies starters, not a main course. I have noticed recently that a number of restaurants have understood that and the mains are now listed under Mains..,.,.. Sorry I had to get that off my mind.......................
