We took a ride into New Haven to get some good Italian food and desserts. We stopped at Skappos for some lunch. We had Parma with fig spread and goat cheese on a ciabatta bread, deeeelicious. For dessert we had fresh made cannoli and biscotti, with a hot fresh made cappuccino.I would highly recommend if your passing through New Haven stop in.
Delicious! Great lunch spot. Friendly, helpful service. Highly recommended.
The entire experience was a very pleasant surprise! The food was authentic... uncomplicated, balanced, fresh, and delicious. The place is cozy, and the atmosphere very inviting. You feel right at home. It was our first time there on Saturday night. We are looking forward to our next visit very soon.
Awesome food and wonderful people serving us
The porketta sandwich I had was unfortunately mostly fat and grizzle. Disappointing given that it costs $13.00

Authentic Italiano food. Freshly made daily.
A wonderful experience in an established family business with great food and Italian charm!!
Bake sale on Saturday morning had the most delicious blueberry muffins and focaccia that we’d tried in a long time!! Sweet small business, family owned and staffed. We may well be returning every Saturday for more focaccia
Excellent. Easy like Sunday morning
