I am not sure about the reviews in here. Looking at the reviews we gave it a try. Food was ready fast but there was no parking in front of the restaurant. So we went around the block 4-5 times. We ordered pahadi kebab - very small amount for $11. Also, the chicken wasn't soft. The mutton Hyderabadi curry was $20 but there was hardly any mutton. Too much tomato. The rice that came with it was really tiny. Not worth the money and wait.
Great traditional desi flavor!! Definitely a must try. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating. Furthermore, the garlic, chilis, and cheese naan is outta this world, a signature secret food weapon, for real!!!!
Best Indian Restaurant I've had in a long time. My wife and I ordered chicken tikka masala and lamb saag with garlic naan along with samosa chaat and chicken hakka noodles. Everything had great flavor! Good bye Sherkaan and Tandoor! Hello Lazeez! We will see you soon!
Excellent food. Mohammad is a delight and the service is always first class. Probably the best Indian food in Fairfield County. We eat in or order frequently.
Passed by this place many times and finally visited-no regrets!. Food is very flavorful. Portion sizes are good for the prices. Look forward to trying more of their dishes.
Best place for Indian foodBiryani was too goodWe will not get best Indian biryani other than lazees restaurant.
Great Indian food, fair price, great management. They will go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your meal and leave satisfied.
My Indian fiancé and I are not fans. The biryani is not fresh, rice sticks together like cake formed instead of multicolor loose grains, none is dum. Tandoori chicken was tender but I’ve never seen tandoori wings? And they were in a wet greasy sauce that congealed quickly. Not to mention it was insanely expensive for what you get and took an hour after being told 30-45 mins. Will not be returning, no idea how they have such great ratings… we could have driven up to Godavari in Manchester and gotten home in less time than it took them to reheat 3 day old food.
Samosas, chicken kardai, rice, and naan. All excellent. This is the best Indian food we have had in a long time. And the best we have found in Connecticut.
Lazeez has excellent food quality complemented by an amazing team (who give awesome recommendations based on your taste). It has a range of options that never disappoint. Honestly, it is the best Indian restaurant in town!!
