Best service I've had at a restaurant in a while. It's located in a bit of a suspect area but the restaurant was great. Food was delicious and fresh and atmosphere light and refreshing.
Love this place - everything is great but the fries are the best Koskwr fries I’ve had! We often get Merguez and Felafel plates for Shabbos meals.
Small place, good food. Everything tried was just right- from coffee, to hummus plate, to lamb dishes, to deserts. Nice service, too.
An excellent restaurant with simply excellent food! We stopped there on the way from Boston and enjoyed the great food and service! The owner is so nice and kind, the price is reasonable and the dishes are fresh and so good!. Try it and you will not be disappointed!
Love their changing menu and specials! I can tell that the chef loves to cook and experiment with flavors. The owners also go out of their way to make their customers happy. My favorite is the savery donuts on chanukah!!!
Everything served to me was freshly cooked, spiced to perfection, and truly hit the spot. We started with a Teimani beef soup, which unbeknownst to us, was exactly what we needed. Yum! I got a baby chicken pita that absolutely bursted with flavor, and my friend ordered this succulent grilled chicken (pictured) that came with delectable grilled veggies. I cannot recommend this place enough. If I ever come within a 10 mile radius of new haven again I will be coming to Ladle and Loaf. Guaranteed. Easiest 5 stars I have ever given.
We drove all the way from Philly. Food was super quick, tasty and fresh. We had tenders, fries, onions rings, wings, doner burger, soup and a chicken sandwich. All was fantastic! Was amazing to stop for a quick yud tes Kislev sudah!
Ladle and Loaf is a delicious restaurant. From the rustic feel to the aromatic smells, what’s not to love? Let me tell you, their onion rings are out of this world amazing. The food was full of flavor that sent my taste buds soaring to new heights. I highly recommend this place.
We called ahead and asked if we can come at 6:30 pm. We were told that as long as we show up before 7, we should be fine and if we get there at/after 7, we should call and put our order in. As states, we got there at 6:40 and the place was closed with the lights off! Never again!
