I like this mexican joint, always fsst and fresh food with the authentic flavor. Stop by and dine in, or just order ahead directly from the restaurant or order through grubhub and get it delivered, etc...

This place is legit! The margaritas are so delicious that I want to weep with joy. Shrimp ala Diabla is my JAM. This restaurant is about as unpretentious as it gets and I love it. Go here and support these nice folks!
This is a hidden gem in the heart of new Haven! If you want authentic Mexican food I 100% recommend coming here! The food here is so good!

I few months ago I move to New Haven from Hartford. I tried this place like two months ago, I got the tacos of carne asada.But, this time I wanted to try their tamales, so, last night I tried to order some tamales, I called at 9:10PM, 20 minutes before closing, which I know most of the time employees do not like to serve when is almost closing time. But, it was going to be takeout, so I was like, why would not they take my order? The guy told me that they were already closed and did not take my order, if you guys are going to close earlier let customers know so we don’t waste time.Adding to that, this was my second time trying to get their tamales, but the first time they did not want to sell me five tamales, they could only sell me 4, and it was not because there were no more. It was because they only sell orders of 4 just the tamales, or three with beans and something else. Which makes no sense!!Good thing I did not waste my money, their tacos were not that great, my fiancé wanted to try their tamales, but for sure we are not coming back here or recommend this place!
