Been here a couple of times, my favorite place in the area, love the local cuisine especially pizza and craft beer. The prices are not high for everyone, the service is super, have always been completely satisfied. All I recommend to visit Kitchen ZINC

Enjoyed our Bubbles and Bites last night w/ Michael Egan and Jalhil from Gloria Ferrer winery in Sonoma. The smoked duck with the Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Blanc was awesome.

Always excellent service and exceptional food. Especially nice to have a menu which changes with the seasons so there's some variety over time. You couldn't have a bad meal there even if you tried.

Amazing food and really sweet server

The staff was nice, but nowhere on the website did it say that Kitchen Zinc was actually closed and was running with Zinc's menu.

Outstanding quality of food and service! Best anniversary dinner yet!!!

The food was spectacular, our waitress was amazing (a huge Shel Silverstein fan named Rachael) and the cocktails and later wine selection were beyond compare. All that being said, what was the most delectable part of the evening was the sense of normalcy, albeit with the servers wearing masks. We were warmly greeted and led to our table. Water was poured, the obligatory tap or bottled was asked. The bread with pepper relish was brought to the table (more kick than normal, and I'm not mad at anyone about it). Duck nachos are ordered as you cannot go without ordering and if you don't order them, you're doing your palate and taste buds a huge disservice. The watermelon salad with Arethusa bleu cheese (quick aside, Arethusa farms chocolate milk is the best chocolate milk there is...anywhere...ever) was the perfect combo of sweet and savory. The hanger steak was cooked to perfection with the char having the most perfect crunch that was complemented by a zingy sauce all tied together by a cold potato salad that makes your grandma's potato salad with mayo look like an amateur attempt at a summer staple (no disrespect to grandma). The Vietnamese chicken transports you from New Haven across the globe and the soy, ginger and garlic flavors tempt you to lick, or at least wipe down the plate with your finger. The chocolate flourless cake was lacking, and I only base this upon its name, flour as the sweet, crunchy, rich and downright tasty chocolate and peanut butter flavors capped off an amazing and incredibly necessary return to normalcy and food crafted with skill and love

The pork chop was outstanding, our waitress was also fantastic. If not for the passive aggressive attitude of the man working the host table, they would have received 5 stars. He put a damper on the whole evening.

In the back of the restaurant is a pizzeria with a very pleasant courtyard looking onto a large public space. Some of the best pizza in downtown New Haven, good service, very pleasant ambiance in the warmer months.
