Everyone knows your name like Cheers...great drinks and the bar staff are fun to hang with at the bar.

Total great experience... Restaurant was fabulous, Beef ribs were incredible ♥️....Rooftop was great for drinks....Staff were kind...Definitely coming back. Get Reservations early!

Great space for a drink with friends. Bar staff were friendly and knowledgable.

They advertise and show a dinner menu but all they have is a small number of appetizers. There is a full restaurant on the first floor of the hotel so no reason for this. That’s where the appetizers come from. The bartenders were spectacular and extremely nice and apologetic. The Manager wouldn’t even come talk to us himself and forced the bartender to explain it to us.

I’ve been going to High George for a couple years and love it! Great location and ambiance. The staff at High George are phenomenal! They are always professional, courteous and accommodating. The food used to be interesting now it is fir lack of better wire “terrible”. I understand this is bar food, but paying $18 got 8 almonds with paprika (terrible) six olives ( only thing that was edible) and a few tasteless potato chips? Highly disappointing. The worst was the choice of “seafood” . We got cockles. They come in a tin, were salty and oily, inedible. Also FYI none of the choices were “date” food . Anchovies?

High George was awesome. As a person that eats at different restaurants, I liked the ambience and the atmosphere. Food is a little pricey. The salmon was really really good and the Brussel sprouts to die for. Butter nut squash soup as well. I wish they had mashed potatoes! They don't :) I would definitely come back.

Came down to New Haven was staying at The Blake- was redirected from bar upstairs to downstairs bar/restaurant- much more what we needed- bar upstairs had just bar snacks no food! They were very accommodating!
