Havenly offers the best Mediterranean food in New Haven. Before Havenly opened, the Greek and Mediterranean options in New Haven were pretty minimal -- and really greasy. But Havenly's food is top-notch. It's delicious, fresh, and has plenty of variety. The vegan options also extended beyond just the falafel pita options; I really loved the opportunity to try vegan baclava! Its business practices and philosophy also make it a really obvious choice. It's one of my favorite places to order from.

Great food and service, great atmosphere. Had the falafel sandwich for lunch. Just visited again and another great experience. I went with four friends and everyone loved their food. Don't forget to try their Baklava for dessert ✔️

I cant say enough about this place. Its owned by refugee women to help other refugee women. It is a community cafe with amazing resources to learn about other cultures and great food too!

The restaurant is a cozy, comfortable environment. It feels like being in someone's home as opposed to a restaurant. To the right of the dining area there seems to be a learning area where students congregate. I was shocked to see a young man, who was getting ready to leave, lift a food covering lid to take a dessert meant for customers. His hands were clearly not clean and he did not wear gloves or a mask. The food was average. Grape leaves and Salata Baladia were dry and/ or lacked flavor. I thought the french fries we're going to be different, but you can get the same quality at Costco's. I was charged a dollar for Pita, which I did not request (only wanted the pita chips that were included). My only favorite was the Tamriyeh.Supporting their mission was the only reason I patronized the restaurant. I do not intend to patron a place where people who are not supposed to be handling food take food and leave.

Decided we needed to try a new place. Great choice! I am picky about lentil soup. The lentil soup was delicious! We got a few things to share and everything we had was all very fresh ingredients and tasted great. Will definitely put this on our list of favorites. Not only great food, but, a great cause. Try them out.

Good Vegan food!I had Egg and Potato warm sandwich and Turkish coffee ☕

Great vibe, authentic Middle Eastern food. Friendly staff. Social conscious cafe.

After learning about the history of this establishment, I knew I wanted to visit. The food was great, I loved my falafel wrap (great flavors) and I took a baklava to go, and that was also delicious! Beautiful inside (there is outdoor seating, also) and the staff was very kind. Definitely worth a trip!

Served a $5 room temperature latte with no coffee flavor, it tasted like cardamom powder mixed with milk. The place does have an aesthetic interior.

very cool space. amazing owners
