Finally got a chance to go. Was seated promptly. And was introduced to our waiter right away very pleasant. Look like they had a variety of custom drinks but we did not order any. But the food was fabulous , atmosphere was light and relaxing. Bruschetta on crusted toast seems to be customary on the house. Prices reasonable would love to go again.
I’ve been going to Goodfellas for at least 20 years . Overall , I love the place . The meals are usually always great, desserts amazing and service impeccable- which is why I always come back .I’ve had a few times where the food wasn’t so great … someone mentioned salty and yes … went in New Year’s Eve and my meal was super salty … BUT .. on any occasion that my meal wasn’t up to par , the staff bent over backwards to not charge me for the meal or to replace it with something else . They also gave us complimentary Prosecco many times and that kind of service makes up for any meals that maybe aren’t the best . Not sure if they have some chefs that are filling in sometimes that aren’t so great ? But all the restaurants have been having a difficult time with getting food help , since the pandemic started . Overall , I love this place and will continue to give them my business !
We just had my daughter's Bridal Shower at Goodfellas (in their banquet room upstairs). Everything was perfect! Andrea was wonderful to work with during the planning process. The waitstaff was outstanding during the event, and the food was exceptional. We couldn't have had a better experience. Highly recommend!
I haven’t been here in years and I can say nothing has changed. Great food, Excellent service. Our waiter was on top of it all. The Amaretto Cheesecake is something unique and the best cheesecake I’ve had anywhere! Skip the appetizers, This is a must have!!! Everything came out in a timely manner. The swordfish was cooked perfectly and the bolognese was delicious! The bruschetta and bean salad is always a nice treat. And seeing the set ups for the reservations coming in. Others feel the same way!
READ READ READBEFORE PURCHASING!I purchased 2 filets from good fellas @1PM the waitress put my order in wrong as New York strips, I called good fellas to tell them this is not what I ordered they told me the manager was busy and would call me back tomorrow, the next day the waitress calls me back and argues that he took my order and I ordered New York strip. I told him I know my steak I did not order that! He then told me I needed to take the steak out of the trash and bring it into the restaurant even though it was ridiculous, I advised them can they start making my new meal before I get there considering how far I am, I got into the restaurant only for the manager to tell me he is not making me another steak, it needed to be fully intact when I explained to them on the phone I cut a piece off to eat to realize it wasn’t what I ordered, I always eat there and my money is good. He said all money is good, I spend $45 a pound for lobster meat I will buy another steak he is not accommodating me at all, which has nothing to do with my order, CAST IRON would never do business like this. A much better restaurant. I will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN! They are very unprofessional. Good fellas lost my business,I highly advice to make sure your food is the correct order because they will make you wait a day just to ask you to pull it out the trash drive all the way down there NOT ACCOMMODATE YOU. I paid $105.
The food was okay it was really good I guess for the price I would of gone to a better places
Service was great, food not so good. I ordered pasta with scallops and shrimp no scallops and only gave me 4 shrimps. Bowl full of over cooked dry no tasting pasta, hubby had lobster's ravioli, no taste,mussels only very small portion ,but drinks were good, 2nd time in 6 months will not be going back, and please tell them to stop bringing out ice cold hard butter can't even butter your 2 little pieces of bread
Waiter was awesome. Food was good. Too many mistakes for an established restaurant. Ordered beet salad. Was given wrong salad. The waiter realized and gave us correct salad. My martini glass had a huge crack in it. Charged for that drink! Husbands veal was cold and raw inside. Water took it back and he received a new meal Cooked perfectly. Thought that something would have been comped. Nothing was. Like I said food was good. Waiter was great. Just too many oops for my liking.
It's been a long time since I have been at Goodfellas. I once was having dinner 2-3 times a month with my wife and friends, but with life, things change. Anyhow I took my team for dinner as a "thank you", and it was an excellent choice. I ordered for the table Fried Calamari and two (2) eggplant towers, and to say they were excellent was and understatement as it disappeared quickly. Plus the complimentary bruschetta was perfect. The table all ordered different menu items, and I chose the duck. My meal was beyond exceptional and the risotto was amazing.Always have a great experience here. The wife and I have not been going out much during the pandemic, but we always feel comfortable going to Goodfellas. The health standards imposed do not affect the phenomenal service at all. Sam, as always, was a delight. He talked me into the duck risotto dinner and I could not have been happier, how have I not tried this sooner? My wife got the gnocchi and loved it. Can't beat the classics!This was our second experience at GoodFellas restaurant and I was very happy with the superlative food as well as the outstanding service. Lonnie was our server tonight and he was professional, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. We received complimentary house bruschetta as well as end of dining glass of prosecco, which were both excellent and appreciated. Additionally, we shared the stuffed mushrooms which were very tasty. The salads were of good size so they can readily be shared. I had the rack of lamb in a wine reduction demiglace which was perfect and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. We also had a great bottle of chianti reserva, which was very reasonably priced. In fact, many of the bottled wines (there is an extensive list) have great price points. The carrot cake was excellent, but the chocolate mousse was a bit too heavy and more like pudding. That was the only very minor gustatory issue, but all in all, we would definitely recommend Goodfellas and plan to return in the future
Food and service were excellent, had a delayed flight , great way to spend our wait time....
