Friendly staff , clean and comfy place I liked it . My order was Iced coffee latte “triple shots” it was the greatest coffee I have drink ever!
are you, too, one of those people who loves a third-wave coffee joint with narrow light wood tables pushed up against a floor-to-ceiling window, ~quirky~ light fixtures, tasteful local art on the walls, & depressing music that’s probably Objectively Good (thanks to a barista who, when you ask about the music, is like “you’ve … never heard of elliott smith??? he’s pretty famous”)…if so, you will enjoy the stylings of fussy coffee, which is probably my favorite place to while away several hours sipping an iced latte and “””studying””” in as much sunlight as new haven can muster. good coffee, good food, good music. if you’re there alone do not get the fries, it is too much food for one person.
I'm very fussy about my coffee, and at Fussy Coffee I had an absolutely delicious light roast espresso. If you're looking for a great third wave coffee shop, look no further. Also, last but not least, great food options.
The sweet crepe with nutella is delicious. But the 1 order portion size is tiny and not filling.You’d have to order 2 and then it’s $16.
$4.30 out the door for a large coffee that's about Maxwell House grade. The price isn't that shocking considering the location and their target audience. Don't be fooled. This is not a fancy, high end coffee shop, it just looks like one.
The chicken and waffles was DELICIOUS!!! That alone will bring me back!
I used to love this place, but they are now rude and unwilling to accommodate simple requests like substituting or adding a side of toast with a meal. Food and drinks taste great, but I will not be returning if they can’t accommodate reasonable requests, especially from loyal customers who used to dine there weekly.
Excellent coffee, love the avalado toast and the eggs benedict. A comfortable place to have a conversation or get some work done. Dave and the crew at Fussy are great!
I’ve been there a couple of times for brunch. Both in busy and quiet days. The coffee & food is good but the fries on the Two Eggs plate is never fresh. They should be a little bit more “Fussy” about their fries ?
Great coffee, nice atmosphere and the folded egg and cheddar biscuit is amazing!!
