I am not into the street food but wanted to visit this place. I am just reviewing the area here not particular truck. Lots of food trucks around Latino mostly. No places to sit! The seafront is full of overloaded thrash bins and trash lying around, wasn’t clean at all. Connecticut municipality should invest in arranging seating area and maintaining the cleanliness of the place. People I saw around were cheerful & really enjoyed the place. I wish municipality makes an effort to maintain the cleanliness & have seating area for them.I had churros, pina colada, my husband had tacos.Pina colada had great presentation, tasted so fresh. My husband said tacos were delicious. For food I would give 4 star.In New York, there are trucks near LIC (Long Island city) waterfront gantry park it has seating areas, and is cleaner- similarly CT/New Haven municipality should invest more in making long wharf better place to visit for everyone.
A lot of variety if you're craving for Latin food, a lil dirty the few tables they had but you can go in front of them and eat overthere. Some food trucks have really good food and some they have just ok food.
100% delicious Mexican & Cubans food but the area is very dirty, trash everywhere. 4 policeman at site I still not feeling safe. A lot Moctocyclists aggressively passing by.
Great place for the food and ambiance. Grab a burrito and sit on a rock by the sea. The number of stars depends on the truck— my favorite is Ixtapa. And born near the border with Mexico,I know a bit about comida
I come here every time I’m in New Haven. Each time I try a different place and I’ve never been let down. It’s so great to sit across the street when the weather is nice too.
I have been here a couple times before and was able to return today. If you like Latinx food, these trucks are wonderful! We ordered Papusas, a pincho, and a Pina colada. (my friend got something else, but I do not remember what it was, some type of sopa taco I believe)I had gotten Puerto Rican (PR) food here previously, but was thoroughly disappointed when I did not see any PR trucks today. I am wondering if they are on some type of schedule? The parking is either along the road or in the little strip in front of the trucks, we went around 330 and there was plenty of parking available. The sun was beating down on us and we were able to find some shade to eat across the road and under a tree near the water. A bunch of other people were eating over there too.I may go back if in the area, but New Haven has so many restaurants I want to try, so I might skip this unless I am craving something specific.

Driving along the highway from NY to RI my car full and I decided to try the food here. I enjoyed my Mexican Food. The price was fair and ut tasted fresh. You may see lines but it seems to move fast. The majority of the trucks sell Mexican cuisine and I’m sorry I don’t know which truck I ordered from. I only know they didn’t have a lot of people in front. Teens ordered from a different, small line Mexican food truck and they were also happy. Unfortunately the Latin Caribbean food trucks we didn’t have luck with. Good tastes as if they over use the oil. The flavor was lacking and NOT representative of Latin foods. So I overall, stick to the Mexican food there. And just FYI not worth a trip here, just a cool place to stop ifffff you’re in the neighborhood.
Never a let down! The food trucks provide a great afternoon meal or late night snack. The prices may see high, but the portions are plentiful. Whether you are seeking some Tex-mex or authentic Mexican foods, this is the spot for you. After eating or during, enjoy the nice view of the Long Island sound. Just hold on to your elote as the seagulls will definitely swoop in for a bite ?.
Honestly drove by here multiple times but never stopped by and I’ve been missing out. Some trucks are cheaper then others but I left full and happy and the tacos were so good and authentic.
