Rally high quality, fresh sushi. Beautifully presented, and lovely quiet atmosphere with friendly and attentive service. Cocktails are on point, as well. I first came here with my son when moving him in to attend University at UNH. This place is now on my must visit list when I come out to see him.
The mount fuji roll was amazing! Atmosphere and location are great. Easily made a reservation with Google for a large group of 10 people and everything was set up when we arrived. They have a cool qr code split pay option which made splitting the payment seamless. Everyone was happy with the sushi and drinks assortment and prices are reasonable. Would definitely come here again.
Seriously amazing! Such fresh quality, great flavor!! Ordered take out, but went in to pick up my order and the establishment looked very clean and tidy which is also a huge plus!! Will totally be back for more ☺️??
Fin and Scale is a gorgeous spot! From the modern interior designs all the way to the super friendly staff there if you need anything. The large menu of options starting with appetizers, sushi rolls, drinks and dessert were all so delicious and plated nicely! I highly recommend coming here when visiting New Haven!
The place has average sushi, at triple the price of a normal place. $9 for bland miso soup?! Save your money for someplace else! They do have nice service. Waitress was extremely accommodating when I mentioned about the blandness of the soup.
When my friend and I ordered the grilled sea bass and the grilled salmon, the waiter told us it would take 25 minutes but that was certainly worth the wait. It was very good. I just wish the portion was a bit bigger because it was so good. My plate was clean at the end. I can't wait to try other dishes. Next time I want to get their noodles and some sushi.
Dining in at fin and scales is the way to go! The sushi is so fresh and flavorful, very hard to eat at any other sushi restaurants after this one! Laguna and mount fuji rolls are my favorite so far, and I always get the caramel machiatto iced! The service is also really great, they helped me in every way that I needed. Highly reccomend.

This place is honestly amazing. I came here to try sushi for the first time and it was unbelievable. I am so glad this place is literally down the street from my house and I wouldn’t mind working here either if their hiring??
