This is truly the best pizza I've ever had. I sometimes travel 30 minutes just to have their pizza! They always have great customer service and are always super patient with you. Definitely 5 stars!
The pizzeria was clean. Not crowded. The staff was polite. And my food was served correctly and promptly. While dining in i didnt feel rushed and i could enjoy my food at my own pace. The mozzarella sticks are great but could use a little bit more cheese. So overall great place and a fine experience. Great for all ages!!!!
Poor excuse for a business. I ordered food that I waited to be delivered just for them to expect me to leave my home and walk a block away to pickup the food from the DELIVERY driver. There was no DANGER as they were pretending it was. Matter of fact the police were sitting in clear view about 20 feet away from my door.Update: As you can see the owner replied to this review. To be clear there isn’t just one building. This is a complex with multiple building. He was neither in the front or the back of MY building. I checked at both my front/back door. From where I live in this complex I’d have to walk the distance of a block to the street. The street isn’t in view of my building at all! Also if this address was such a red flag why wouldn’t whoever took my order let me know this prior to accepting my order. I had a sleeping baby in this apartment and I wasn’t going to wake the child or leave the child to walk a blocks distance for food that was supposed to be delivered to me. This establishment is only 3 blocks away from my place so if I wanted to pick up the order I could’ve walked an extra 2 blocks.
If I could rate it lower I would, the crew is a bunch of swindlers charged me 10 DOLLARS FOR A CUP OF RANCH. I hand the cashier a $20 reaches in the register and he hands me Back a 10 and says no charge. They look to pray upon drunk college students by literally stealing and doing this shifty slight of hand. Go anywhere else in new haven for better pizza and service.
Horrible dry pizza. Calzones are huge, but filled with cheese that seems like plastic. The food overall is just not appetizing! The owner (from what I presume to be) is rude and condescending, as I’ve found to be the case in other pizza shops as well. Will never be returning here again. :/
Only good thing was the Stromboli I couldn’t believe they called this a steak fajita look at the imitation cheese smh never again
I ordered for delivery, pizza on the slightly warm side, but pizza had NO flavor, super greasy, we ordered pepperoni and we we got half pepperoni half cheese which isn’t what we ordered. Pizza was also very chewy. Chewy flavorless pizza…. Also I’m from NY so I guess I also have high standards BUT I have had other places that are good.
The brick walls give the restaurant a cozy atmosphere to dine in. The owner was very kind and sociable to my wife and I which made us feel very comfortable and right at home. He even brought to our table two slices of his specialty pizza for us to taste at no charge to us. Last but not least, the food was delicious and the menu has a lot to offer.
I love this place. Not only do I eat lunch here regularly, but tonight my friends and I passed by here after leaving the bar up the street- unfortunately the restaurant was closed but the owner happened to see us pass by looking in and welcomed us at the side door with left overs free of charge! This business is incredibly welcoming & really aim to please instead of making money. We cannot thank you enough for the generousity ! I highly recommend coming here- pizza is great, staff is great, and they genuinely lookout for the locals. Fantastic business! Very very generous owners! Can’t go wrong by stopping in!
My husband and I went to Est Pizza and as soon as we walked in it was very welcoming. Very clean. The food was excellent. We traveled from Westerly, RI and never felt such kindness. The owner even gave us a free piece of oven brick pizza because we had never had it before. We will be back to Est Pizza. TY
