Very friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in.The pizza is always right on point every time made by Pat day in day out year after year. I've tried the rest and in my opinion Ernie's is and always be the best. If you don't believe me please try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
So new haven is known for its pizza. From Frank Pepe’s to Bar, from Bar to Modern, from Modern to Zeneli’s. And I’m missing about a dozen other places. But Ernie’s is a hidden gem! When i ordered a pie on a weekday and it was a 1hr wait for pick up i knew i was in for treat. It’s literally consistently amazing… 10/10 would recommend but plan for the wait it’s 100% worth it!

My Father Ernest Jones Sr. came here for years loved the people and pizza that they serve. I myself Ernest Jones Jr also love the friendly atmosphere for everyone and the pizza made one by one by Pat who learned early from his Dad Ernie and doing a awesome job following his Father's ways and footsteps making the best pizza around hands down.

Got a bacon and broccoli rabe pizza with garlic and basil... delicious. Generous and balanced ratio of toppings. Easy in and out by calling ahead too.
