Not mad, just disappointed. The anchovy pie was supposed to have onions and garlic. It was just anchovy with sauce and a small amount of cheese. As a result it was far too salty and fishy--the balance was way off! Probably won't be back...
Great pizza and food!!! Fridays are pizza days and we order from Dayton St weekly. I never get a "bad" pizza and everyone is always so nice. They also do catering. Any event I have I use Dayton St for the food, people always compliment how great the food is and ask where it came from. We're picky about our pizza and Dayton St never fails us.
For some reason Dean Street Pizza is against toasting and cutting subs in half I haven't gone as far as to say please cut it in half but I still get a whole sub not toasted after I ask please cut in half please toast it it won't be getting grinders from there anymore I don't understand why they don't cut their subs in half it's weird
Just picked up a large 1/2 peperoni/ sausage 1/2 mushroom. The pie is tasty, but couldn't pick it up and eat it with our hands. The pie just collapsed and all the toppings fell off.
DO NOT ORDER. PIZZA WAS HARD AND COLD LOOKED POORLY PREPARED SPENT $69.00 called restaurant for money back was asked to contact Doordash. Never again. Do NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON POOR SERVICE AND BAD FOOD. HIGHLY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED.
So on a CT pizza rating, if your looking for decent pizza come here, it’s on the cheesy and greasy side but it’s really good, the only downside is that when you purchase the pizza it is the equivalent to signing a 2 hour contract of sitting on the toilet.
Wish I could give them ten stars!! My partner & I stopped here in the ambulance on shift; we don’t get much time & staff here made our food super super quickly with a great attitude & kind words. Very greatful to have chosen them. Good good, better staff!!
Excellent pizza and service almost always and our family has eaten here dozens of times (take out). Recommended.
I wish I could give them 0 stars. This pizza was just delivered. It was hard and no flavor. Called them up to ask for a new pizza and the lady that answered the phone was very rude and should quit her job. Would never spend my money again at Dayton street because the customer service was that bad. The pizza could easy have been replaced but I’ll never forget how bad the customer service was.
Excellent food and service! We called 30 mins prior to coming in with 13 baseball players and parents . They had us set up and service was fast! The food was excellent! We tried a little bit of everything. My favorite was the primavera pizza! Highly recommend, Mangia
