I had a party of 7 booked for a Team Celebration for work. Made the reservation through Open Table which is always Quick and Easy. When I arrived the host initially told me that I had to wait until at least 5 people from the party were present at the restaurant before we could be seated. She then told me I could sit at the bar if I wanted to until they arrived. Although I was a little taken back by this and her cold delivery (we come once a month and have never been asked to wait for 5 or more people to be present) I took a seat at the bar as instructed. That is where I encountered Mikey who changed the entire mood I was in. He was SO KIND, his bright smile and warm greeting made me instantly forget the frigid reception I received from the host. He assured me that he'd be our server and he'd be happy to get us all situated. As more of my party arrived he made sure we were able to be seated, he gave me a complimentary flute glass of something tasty and continued to provide AMAZING service throughout the evening. He worked so hard for us and was truly the bright spot of our evening there. When I come to Camacho with my friends (at least twice a month) he provides the same amazing service as well, which is honestly the main reason I return and bring my staff. THESE are the people we need more of. With the rising cost of EVERYTHING this is the type of service you don't mind paying for.
Perfect little hideaway unique Mexican restaurant. The ambience was very comfortable and interesting. Plenty of space and room. The food was incredible and drinks were delicious!
First visit - so yummy! Will definitely be back again.
Nice vibe, great food and service. Little pricey.
My favorite restaurant in Connecticut right now! Bravo.
Prices were raised way too high, we loved coming here because it was affordable but now itâs too much. We brought friends here because we thought theyâd love it, but even they said for two tacos itâs too expensive.
If your looking for good vibes and ambiance, Camacho Garage definitely has it. However, what they make up in aesthetic, they lack I quality when it comes to food. In my opinion, the food is way over priced and just lacking in flavor. I order the Al Pastor Tacos and I was simply disappointed. The Margaritas were okay but your better off coming here soppy for drinks. The food just isnât up to par.
Mexican food with a flair, great ambiance, great drinks, food was very tasty
Itâs been over a year since the restaurant has been open and only gets better
Unfortunately after receiving our drinks and an appetizer we found out that the kitchen lost 3 employees the night before. So after waiting over an hour for our meals we paid our tan for the drinks and appetizer and left. It would have been nice to be made aware of the situation beforehand.
