This is the best cafe on the medical campus in my opinion. Coffee is solid, especially light roast drip and mochas. However, I don’t recommend the food. Grab something from the carts instead!
This establishment has the absolute worst customer service. The cashier who took my order, specifically the blonde white girl, rung me up for the entire wrong drink and overcharged me. When I proceeded to tell her my order was wrong, she still didn’t listen and had the audacity to give attitude. I’ll never come here again, I’d rather use my money where I’m respected.
Blue State Coffee should be considered as the gold standard of service quality in this industry. Such warm, welcoming and energetic employees. I visit this shop often and each time it brings me a perfect start of a day. Thank you members of this shop! And well done to your HR to bring such a team together.
Insanely delicious lattes and coffee! We grabbed some beverages and sat in some comfy chairs by the window. It was really nice.
Skip this place. The coffee is bad and the staff acts like they are doing you a favor by being there. Lots of other good choices in New Haven!
Best BLT I've ever had. Easily best in New haven. Coffee is delicious. Everyone is super nice. Plenty of seating. Me and my daughter love this place. Its our favorite.

Ginger Tea is always delicious and on point.The space itself is dirty nasty and needs a deep cleaning. They never sweep. Never mop never clean the stainless steel Fridge or counters. The floors needs machine scrubbing. You can't help but notice it.
