Beautiful place, very nice staff and in walking distance to any and everything you need or want.
I often travel to New Haven on business and have stayed at this property multiple times. The location is perfect and is walking distance to many great restaurants and stores. My stays are always pleasant but what really makes the experience special is the staff. Michelle who works the front desk is really fantastic. She is professional, courteous and accommodating. I count on her for a smooth check in, great restaraunt recommendations and just anything that I might need during my stay. When Michelle is there I know I’m in good hands, she always goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are comfortable.
Spent 3 nights here. It’s the Covid era so not everything was available. The Yale gym across the street was not open to hotel guest, as promised. The staff was exceptional, Michelle went out of her way from the moment we arrived to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We appreciate the attention to detail.

I'm a frequent business traveler to New Haven and have been staying at this property many months out of the year since 2016. The hotel is always efficiently run and clean, like you'd expect from most Courtyard. What separates this property from others is that it has THE BEST staff of any Marriott property I've stayed at. The front desk staff particularly is great and Michelle always makes our team's visits to the property feel like coming back home. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect when we visit and is just such a nice person. Thank you for all you do!

As usual, the Courtyard Marriott is clean and efficient. As a Bonvoy member, I was able to check in early and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is easy walking to Yale and restaurants with a Stop n Shop just down the street.
This hotel, while not on the upscale or 'unique' end of the hotel scale, is still a solid place to stay, especially if you need somewhere affordable near Yale. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and there was a decently-sized parking lot in back. They're good for checking in/out late (important for staying near a university), and it's within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The rooms aren't too big, but have the standard things for a good stay: comfortable bed, functioning bathroom, and AC. Be sure to check which amenities are open (or closed) due to the pandemic.
Standard Marriott CY somewhat dated but in good shape; smallish bathrooms. Excellent service though note most amenities are closed due to COVID. Solid location near Yale campus (2 blocks West from Yale Bookstore). Note $25 night parking fee.
