The food was good, our Server was great!

First time going and I was absolutely blown away. The ambience is very well curated, great attention to detail. Friendly staff and quick service. We had the jerk fries, sexy wings and I had the bake and shark sandwich. Everything was delicious and not too expensive. The drinks were strong and tasty. 10 out of 10 would recommend. The plantains two ways is a must get. I’ll be back real soon.

Drinks were a 5. Food unfortunately while it sounded amazing was unremarkable. The Jerk chicken was far too dry in a skewer. The ends were cardboard. The rice was ok. The anchor salad… just stay away from the pale, tasteless, yellowish cabbage that is there to fill the space. This is a bar. Avoid the food.

Amazing cocktail flavors. I would recommend it.

The food was delicious ??, I had the shrimp and grits, and the spicy ?? wings....

Black Owned!?? This place is all about the vibe!! It’s a small intimate establishment (looks like an old diner or ice cream shop), reggae music softly in the background, and really good popcorn…10-12 person bar, maybe.. high tops aligning the walls, but no seating for them, just countertops to stand at (and there were plenty people who chose to stand, and order food, versus going elsewhere, so that’s tells you a lot)… extremely personable bartender, which was great as the wait was ridiculous. The back, or dining area, is dimmed and even more intimate…that’s where you want to be! This place is solid, just seemingly understaffed for the volume of patrons that they may have. The wings are great, everyone loves the Sexy Wings, but ask about the other flavors - they have a Cajun dry rub and grilled jerk. They have outdoor seating as well, just not available yet. Even with the wait, I would definitely recommend this place. It’s a vibe that satisfies.

Birthday celebration for my boyfriend. Food was very good, ambience was romantic and intimate despite the closeness of tables. Only complaint is that we were unclear if we ordered with a server or through the QR menu. Absolutely a hole in the wall you don’t want to miss

Get here for happy hour M-F 5-7, or any hour. The vast menu offers fresh Jamaican-Caribbean-Southern flavorful options that won’t disappoint. The ambiance steps you back in time to a kool, relaxed, intimate vibe. The main attraction: a thoughtful repertoire of delicious cocktails. Before you go…review Anchor’s history and make a reservation.

Birthday, great

A great little place with a cool vibe. Cocktails are amazing! Bartender Jeremy is a master. We didn’t eat but the menu has some delicious sounding offerings.
