So...... Needed a place to eat and my lovely girlfriend suggested this place. Well obviously she has good taste (? dating me) and we went to New Britain Diner, well fantastic! Friendly waitresses and very efficient kitchen, so the food was really fantastic. Homemade soup, potato pancakes and Mac and Cheese was awesome !!!!!
Excellent service! The kitchen made a mistake with my omelet at first and our waitress took care of it quickly. The replacement was delicious and my husband enjoyed his food as well.
The service was good considering the restaurant was filled because of St.Patrick's Day. I did order the corn beef special. Their food is always top notch, but the corned beef wasn't particularly great as I had hoped. I will still continue to be a customer there because all the other dinners I've ever ordered there are very tasty.
Fast, friendly service. Food came out quick. It was hot and delicious! I had Florentine Benedict and it was filled with flavor. Great for a good, quick breakfast. They serve lunch and dinner as well all day
I love this place! Great food, great service! I love their buffalo chicken wrap. And you can't go wrong with breakfast. A very clean place too. I know cause I used to work there years ago. And if anything they have only gotten better with time.

I always liked going here I've never had a bad meal but I went there at 2:30 finding out that now they are closing at 3:00, I thought that was okay we seated ourselves put in our order, it was delivered very fast like usual then the waitress said that they closed at 3:00 and that we would have to bring it to go, we had 10 minutes to eat whatever we could. I worked in dining and even owned a diner years ago and always let people finish eating not kicking them out right at closing time if they should clean after 3:00
Definitely the most expensive diner I’ve ever been to. And for the quality of the food…no thanks. We stopped here because we were starving and googled the closest place to us. I’d rate 1 star based on the quality and price of the food but I’m giving it an extra star because the staff were really nice. But if you’re looking for a decent diner, I’d skip this place and go to the next one.
Saw the advertisement on Channel 8 news by Mr. Gil and I picked up my son at CCSU and went over for breakfast. It was great, the service was quick and great. My two kids enjoyed it. Planning another visit with my husband.
