This place is a wonderful institution! If you are in the mood for a hidden gem with fantastic seafood this is your place. The rustic wood greets you as you're transported back to a dockside bar. Two old men where comparing the chowda to the bisque. I had the broiled scrod with crab meat which hit all the marks perfectly. Balanced fish with a crab cake on top had me doing the happy dance.
Absolutely great service from Rachel, the bartender and server. The food and drinks were exceptional. Great Scallops! The atmosphere was nice a comfortable. Relatively quiet and not crowded compared to the other places in town! Great find and close walking distance from our marina!
My wife and I enjoyed the "Seven Seas". The inside is divided by a wall between the tables of the dinner and the bar on the other side. The tables are small size with generally two chairs. However, the chairs can be moved to fit four to a table, but it is tight. Food is good ! The menu is heavy on seafood. We had "Lobster Rolls" which were very good. The waitress staff are in constant motion providing very good service. Good food & service ! I would go back !! Location is in an area of restaurants & shops. Parking can be a problem. We parked in an open lot of a town building and walked across the bridge into the area of the Seven Seas. We got caught having to cross a busy street with no crosswalk !! Careful with parking !!!
My favorite lobster roll spot. Started coming here a few years ago with friends. Even though I’ve moved away, whenever I’m in the area I try to stop by for a lobster roll. I can say it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Tons of meat, butter on a hotdog bun. I always pair it with a blue moon beer. Fries are potato wedges and it also comes with a coleslaw. Both are solid sides I never manage to finish. The staff is always friendly, and you can tell they care about their regulars. Service can be slow, but I’ve never found it to be an issue. Just relax and wait.
While the menu isn't as extensive as some, there was a good variety. We ordered the fried clams and a shrimp and pasta dish. Both were excellent and the portions are big. We started with French onion soup (good but not great) and the lobster bisque (a definite star, loaded with lobster). The bar is busy but good at what they do, and the coffee is first rate. Desserts are too tempting for words, if you have any room left.
Ordered lobster roll for pick up. 8 miles down the road and the coleslaw was warm in my a/c car?? Seemingly way overpriced for what was received. $32 for warm cole slaw and basic small lobster roll. I don't know if it's the days and times we live in, but portions need to be larger for this price.
This is a DDD place. The food is alway plentiful and good. Alway a good meal.
Heard good things. Both of us had fried clam strips. They were too heavily breaded and over cooked. Could barely tell it was clams in there ..seemed like chunks of crunchy breading. I'm comparing with Lenny and Joe's fishtail in Madison and Bob's Clam Shack in Kittery, Maine , tough competition but still. The service however was great!
Service is slow and leaves something to be desired. However that is completely forgotten when you get your hood. The lobster roll is so stuffed it falls apart and delicious. The portions are good. The food is goof. But, I don’t know who eats coleslaw like why?
Lobster rolls, fries and Cole slaw was very good. Fish and chips was good too. Tarter sauce was ok. Didn't get utensils or ketchup though.
