shout out to the young blonde lady that took my order, I wish I got her name. But, I asked her that I wanted an iced coffee that tasted good, and she understood the assignment. Starbucks is no longer getting my money. My coffee was just what I wanted ?
Great coffee, baked goods, and an amazing staff! My wife and I go here every chance we get, which is anytime we have to be out the house early. Because what better way to start your day, than with a great cup of Joe, and some amazing baked goodies! In my honest opinion, simple is sweet here. They have a huge variety of things to order from, but I personally always keep it simple with an ice coffee (lite and sweet), and one of their shortbreads, which they sell everyday I believe except Sunday. If you're ever near or passing through Milford, you gotta check this place out! I can promise you won't regret it!
Scratch Baking is the best bakery I have ever been to. Form savory to sweet. From breakfast to lunch. They have it all! The employees are so kind and helpful (special shout-out to MaryBeth, Bridget & Evan). The online ordering is efficient & easy to use. Everything is made from literal scratch and made to order, which means the wait is definitely worth it. If you haven’t tried Scratch Baking yet, it’s a must!
I just drove by (again) and saw well over 100 people waiting in line outside of the small store. It has become so popular but remained so small that it’s no longer a viable option for typical locals who just want a bagel and coffee. Too bad because it used to be a favorite place.
We always like to stop & get a cup of coffee on our walk. The brand they sell is delicious. But recently when we ordered the coffee has-been so bitter and strong. The staff is obviously pouring it before it's brewed which makes the coffee so bitter in the beginning then the bottom part weak!! Awful.And we've traveled to Old Saybrook to the Ashland Farms Cafe. They do it right!!
Their Crème Brule is one of my favorite items. Their ciabatta bread is always perfect and breakfast pizzas are fun and flavorful.
This is probably the most amazing bakery I’ve ever come across! I don’t believe they have one item that’s not amazing from the first bite!! The muffin and scones are my favourite

Ate there with my partner today, the sandwich was so good, every bite consistent and flavorful, great to share! Staff was so friendly and welcoming, gave us crisp refreshing water with our order as well as an extra surprise in our bag. Truthfully proud to support this small business, will be going back to try more of their food!
Went in there for the first time today and the staff was great with helping me pick out a sandwich for my partner and I to share. We got the Chipotle one and it was AMAZING. We can't wait to go back!
