Honestly, SBC has always been a favorite place to dine! I was so looking forward to dining there last night - beautiful night to spend in downtown Milford. I was utterly surprised to open the menu and find SIGNIFICANT changes to the menu. No pizzas, no jambalaya, multiple sandwiches removed!! The reasoning was the menu changes all the time - but having gone there for years, it was consistent with all menu items without changes. It was sad to see there were limited options, and the options that were selected had also significantly decreased in sizing. The timing for food and beverage, though our waitress was great, took way too long. I am understanding that places are still short staffed potentially or that there are larger parties that need to be tended to, however, there should have been a wait time for seating rather than sitting there waiting for our dinners, which to add, came out all separately and at room temperature. The steak tips were subpar and the mashed potatoes need a little pick me up. The calamari, for the pricing, looked like a half order and completely overdone. I’ll definitely be back to visit, more likely for a cocktail and the atmosphere rather than the food.
I've been to SBC several times and each time I've been there has been an excellent experience. The manager (I think her name is Abby) has been able to assist me with my special dietary restrictions. The waitstaff (Parker and Brandon) are fun and professional and the food and drinks are something to review about. I would recommend this restaurant for an evening out or dinner with clients. The atmosphere is on point as well. If you're in the area, SBC does not disappoint.
A few months ago my family and I came to sbc and had awful service. Did not return. Didn’t matter how good the food was. We returned on Tuesday night with a friend from out of town who wanted to eat there. Not only was the service great, the food was amazing! They should consider putting some of the specials on their menu! We had Maria as our server and she was great! We always like to ask our servers their favorite thing off the menu. My husband ended up getting the caprese sandwhich as that was one of the things she suggested and he LOVED it! They changed the menu and drinks to awesome choices. I had a new margarita special it was the best margarita I have ever had! Everything was so good I came back again the next day on Wednesday with a coworker! I ended up having the same waitress from the night before and she remembered me! They even have Trivia there which we had no idea and ended up playing! I will be coming back again as a regular customer to keep trying new things! Please consider putting the pork belly on the menu! 10/10! Also maybe post the specials online! Thanks! Overall amazing experience I couldn’t believe it!
I love SBC the food is the best one of my most favorite places to dine . the service is fantastic, polite, friendly . I love the restaurant itself it’s beautiful inside and out the views are beautiful.

I use to live in Milford and have been here previously. Food was good, service, let's say there is alot of room for improvement. Maybe they give better service to parties greater than one. It is a training issue that needs to be addressed from the top. All customers are to be serviced like VIP's!. Every customer one or a party of more than one. "Treat your customers like you want to be treated.
Delicious food, especially the fries and the drinks were great too!I was at a private party in the back room, it was great to have a private space, not just a corner in a restaurant.
My spouse had a turkey burger & I ordered the chicken stir fry - both delicious. Attractive restaurant, friendly waitstaff, tasty meal. Craft beer on the menu!! Would return again when traveling through the area.
SBC hosted a private event for my family with about 20-25 guests. The back room with river views is really nice, the food was delicious, and the staff was polite and helpful. Would recommend.
We were trying a new place with the family. We ordered a Crispy Calamari which was so overdone that the inside was chewy and the entire thing was crunchy. My 9 year old like it. The birdhouse burger was so drenched with honey that it was sticky and by the time my wife was done her hands were sticking together. the chicken was overdone which made it dry and some was way too hard to eat. I had fish and chips. I guess for tonight's theme we are doing over cooked meals. it was dry and soaked in oil. every bike I tasted oil more then fish. The atmosphere was nice. there was no loud music playing and there were a lot of people at the bar. the staff was attentive. I guess if you go, go with your friends and have a few drinks and you will overlook the food quality. I do not think we will be returning here for dinner or for anything.
