I don't live in this town, but I go here very often whenever I'm traveling to Boston. This place is such a gem. Even if this restaurant moves to Flushing it would still be one of the better ones there. Very authentic and delicious.I did notice a slight decline in food quality recently. Hope it gets back to their original taste soon.
Been eating there since they first opened. Maybe 15 years? I've seen a gradual decline in the food quality but the order taking and the take out service has been awful. Mistaken orders, omissions and smaller portions. I cant reccomend this restaurant. The Dumpling House down the street in Milford has better/higher quality food, larger portions, better prices and better service. Too bad. It once was a wonderful restaurant.
Very original! The Mongolian beef is really good! For meat lovers. Highly recommended.
I have never eaten at this establishment but I was sitting in the parking lot and I was watching an employee WASHING their mop in the river next to this place and then the woman proceeded to hit my car with her mop and when I yelled at her and told her she scratched my car she said “ok” and walked back inside with her river filled mop. Absolutely disgusting and I will be calling the health department immediately. If they are washing their supplies in a river… think about other health precautions they are taking… probably not many. The food might be great but think about the sanitation and thought that goes into keeping you, as a customer, safe. Seriously consider eating here especially if you care about your health. I would have loved to give this place no stars
Chongqing noodles and the kungpao chicken is very good.
Very good real Chinese food as opposed to American Chinese food. Excellent dumplings, scallion packages and Dan Dan noodles.
Most authentic sichuan restaurant in the area… if you think otherwise then your mistaken and clueless when it comes to authentic sichuan food.
The food is great. Prices are decent. And the review would be much higher if it were for that only.Except i have not been more offended by a delivery driver. We made a significant order to cater a service. We had planned and found a friend to help pick up the food. On ordering we were told they would deliver a large order for free, but to tip the driver. Which we did, for a 30 minute drive and for which we were told was free, we tipped them decent. Not fanatstic, but a good amount. Instead she has the audacity to offend our friend, who was assisting us while we were at the funeral and ask for another $60 on $115.
In response to the restaurant's comment: I repeat there was absolutely zero spice on the meal. It was bland as baby food. And there was zero time for our server to talk about anything --he was taking care of the phone, ringing up takeout orders, taking orders from the table, and acting as a waiter to tables. // They served me a completely bland bizarre stir fry -- no spice at all. So it was chicken, pea pods, and mushrooms and some chicken flavored water and that's it. Service was also pretty bad. Do not recommend.
Great food and very polite waiters. Food is super authentic. Very different from the other chinese places in the area.
