Huge selection of burgers including build your own. The Coconut Shrimp was a portion of four crispy shrimp and well seasoned. Nice presentation and served piping hot.The burger was a generous 6oz with an option for 10 oz. Fries were a mix of hot crunchy and somewhat luke warm.Very large selection of unique and creative cocktails, wines and beers.Plenty of seating options with booths, high tops, patio and bar.The service in the bar was fast and friendly. The acoustics loud especially when they are busy and utensils, glasses and bottles are being hurled in to bins and sinks.The patio seating in summer has tables with and without umbrellas and shade.Well worth a visit.
So much more than burgers! Never had anything bad here. The fried deviled eggs, tamale bites, chicken tenders all really awesome. Love the shrimp tacos and tuna wrap as well. Drink list is very impressive and very tasty! My favorite is the cucumber honey martini. The drinks vary depending on the bartender and sometimes service is on the slower side otherwise I’d give 5 stars. Certainly doesn’t stop me from going. Love this place!
Tried going here for their happy hour. We were seated and then forgotten about. When someone finally came she was annoyed when we asked if we could sit by the bar for the happy hour special (mind you we were told there was no indoor seating at first). Then I watched a server half walk towards us then turn around and leave. Finally had someone come and I tried to order a drink and then my friend asked for a menu, he left and then came back and gave it to us without a word. Another person came up to us and was confused about whether we needed help. At that point we decided to leave. Then she said “oh well you ordered a drink…” and I stated the server dropped a menu and left he didn’t say whether or not he was getting my drink. It was already tough walking into a whitewashed Milford area, but this difference in treatment did not help. Couldn’t help but notice everyone else was catered to just fine. You’re better off going to SBC down the road. The people there are way nicer and there’s better vibes!
Delicious burgers , salads and taco choices, with a nice deck to enjoy summertime dining. The combinations or build your burger were numerous and creative. The service was good and the restaurant was well kept, clean and inviting. A great place to go and relax with comfort foods and drinks. A bit tricky for parking, but not impossible. Weekends a reservation is suggested.
Used to come here a couple times a month, always a great experience. This time, staff was pleasant and drinks were very well made. Second time recently coming here waiting 1+ hour for food after the order was placed. It was mentioned that the kitchen is understaffed, overburdened and the owner has been looking for help for months. Sounds like if the owner actually wants to hire quality kitchen staff, he needs to pay them properly. The wait staff is taking the brunt of the disgruntled customers, losing out on good tips as people walk out after waiting so long for food. Put a genuine effort into hiring good kitchen staff, or you'll probably lose your wait staff next, not to mention veteran patrons.
Must agree with the 15 other one-star ratings: terrible service, worse food. My $18 10oz sirloin burger, ordered rare (not medium-rare) got to us an hour after we sat down. It was beyond well-done. It was the dryest, worst slab of ground beef I'd eaten since I could remember. I didn't send it back as that would likely have been another hour and I was too hungry after the first hour.
I thoroughly enjoyed Flipside before yesterday. My boyfriend and I were seated in an area where more than 5 servers were walking by, but no one served us. It took 15 minutes for someone to come up to the table and put our drinks in. Then when it was time for us to check out (which we always do at the register), the cashier asked us to take our check to our server who was on the patio. She expected us to walk to the patio and hand him the unpaid check when she could’ve handled the transaction. Better yet, could’ve asked him to come over. So we waited for him to come to the register and she rolled her eyes. It’s already tough being African American in such a whitewashed town like Milford. But that was disgusting and completely unacceptable. Nobody else was asked to do that. Also, they only have single use bathrooms.
I was there a week ago and the staff was very friendly. Everyone that we interacted with were great. We went around lunch and expected it to be busy, but the wait wasn’t too bad. The hostess was also very professional and handled herself great when a rude customer got somewhat in her face. The food and cocktails were also great and the burgers were bigger than I remembered.
Amelia was a great waitress. Very personable and friendly. She made our experience better than we receive in other establishments.She was super witty and not afraid to go the extra mile for service! Everyone was treated like a friend.Would recommend coming to see her!
Great burgers and more. Very knowledgeable (and super friendly!) about gluten free and allergen safe prep. Cauliflower wrap is amazing!
