I wanted to like this place just bc it seems cool ... but it comes down to the coffee. Everyday I make coffee from my moka pot using Illy espresso coffee & it's super delicious but I ran out so... I came here & got a hot Americano but it tastes weird. Not bitter nor sour but .... funky all the same. It doesn't have the nuance or complex flavors I normally expect out of good coffee. Had to add some Cinnamon to overcome the funky flavor. I think they need to re-check their beans ....
Went to Perkatory for the first time this morning. Friendly service and cool atmosphere - heavy skater vibes. I got a cold brew with the cold foam and honestly it was the best cold brew I’ve had since moving to CT in October. I’ll definitely be back!
I love Perkatory. I think the ambiance is great, music is great, and coffee drinks are solid. Having worked at other coffee shops, you can't go wrong with Perkatory overall.I have one complaint though, regarding how they close the store. As a customer there I have left several times with a bad taste in my mouth. My wife and I have come and camped for the afternoon to work on things. I like to read or work on homework in the lobby, but have on several occasions felt like I was being pushed out of the cafe at close earlier than the advertised hours.What I mean is, if they say they close at 5pm, the staff will begin closing tasks early, like 4 or 4:15. This would be fine, except they do like vacuuming, mopping, or cleaning the bathrooms a full hour before they close the lobby. I've seen them stack chairs and move tables to mop thirty to forty minutes before the lobby closes, and one time closed the bathrooms a full hour before closing.This often leaves me feeling unwanted as a customer in the lobby.Like I said, overall Perkatory is great, I've just been disappointed this way multiple times.
I have never been a drink the whole coffee coffee drinker. Self admitted l drink half or less, but not here, their coffee is so freaking good, fun atmosphere, and doggo friendly. Perfect
Very neat selection of beverages cool skater atmosphere, very spacious garage look. Love the skeletons. Fun place to go and chill. Best part, Dog Friendly. Will be coming back.
Amazing coffee. Had their drip over the weekend, it was heaven in a cup. They gave my dog a pup cup with a treat, it was very nice of them.
Cool place. Decor is great. Skater vibe with a touch of punk. TV playing skate videos of tricks and street skating. Lots of merchandise to buy. Service a bit slow, but it's personal and with a friendly smile. It's all part of the laid back feel here at Perkatory.

Best coffee on the shoreline. Friendly knowledgeable staff, clean, and relaxing atmosphere. Even better than local overrated common grounds.
I always get a seasonal drink from here cause they kill it every time with amazing flavors and amazing coffee! Definitely worth the drive every time.
