I placed an order for 2 crepes and asked for sides of avocado and salsa. When I paid, they charged me $12 for the SMALLEST avocado and salsa but did not mention this on the phone. That is a ridiculous upcharge!! The person working was NOT helpful. I used to come here regularly even when they used to have Durham and Guilford locations but will NEVER come back after this horrible service.
This cafe is great for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and even light dinners. They specialize in crepes but have lots of other offerings, all delicious. The owner and staff are terrific people. One of the best cafes in this part of Connecticut - and I love cafes.

The coffee shop is very spacious inside. It has large selection of crepes, sandwiches and bakeries. The service is quick and friendly. The food is delicious. Will definitely come back.
Great place to have a cup of coffee and spend a hour in a wonderful conversation with a friend.The place is open and welcoming, while still giving folks the choice of distancing and masks.Really nice and relaxing.

They have really good menu with delicious food. Specially breakfast food. It has proper sitting arrangement and a nice place to eat and hangout.
I loved this place when it first opened in Durham so many years ago. I'd have breakfast there every Saturday for a number of years. Now that it's flagship is now on Main Street Middletown I'm glad to see that it's kept up it's amazing menu and nearly all of the charm of the Durham location. I say "nearly" because it's lost the bit of charm that comes from a place far too small for its popularity. Believe it or not, waiting for a seat while chatting with the staff was part of the fun. Perk remains a great place to sit alone or join several friends for some great food and atmosphere!
The croissants are actually better than Ovens of France. Amazing!
Haven't been to place this charming in a long time. Everything is so nostalgic. The collection of old hanging lamps the artwork the decorations. Oh yeah, the food!!!! Good portions and very reasonable prices! Must go!!!
