We stopped in for a happy hour and had one of everything on the happy hour menu. Everything was really good. The pizza was my favorite and the size of the two slices you cant beat for $5.
About a month ago, I ordered through the phone for 2 pizzas. I'm new to Middletown and after checking reviews, I went with Mondo. I arrived, and the gentleman couldn't find my order although he remembered taking it. This was a Tueday night, and they were hopping! He and a woman tried to find it on the computer, but to no avail. They were extremely sorry, and embarrassed and put a rush to having the pizzas made. They said they would run it out to the car, but I saw some great beers on tap, so I proceeded there. They brought the 2 pizzas to the bar 15 minutes later, and said "no charge"!! Plus, they paid for my beer. All is forgiven, and I've been a satisfied customer 2 times since, with no hang ups in the order.
We called up for on a Mozzarella Pizza- We said only Mozzarella no sauce- We get Mozzarella and parmigiana pizza with basil on a kids pizza it went in the garbage because they didn’t listen
We almost didn't go here because a few other reviewers complained about the speed of the service. That was absolutely not our experience. We were seated immediately though the place was pretty full. The waitress got to us quickly and the food arrived about 15 min after we ordered. We ordered two pizzas which were great. B I would go back.
Don’t waste your time! Definitely should have picked somewhere else to celebrate a friends special day! There was an hour wait, we called at 3pm for a reservation and they wouldn’t accept it!! The waitstaff was rude! Took 48 minutes to get our food. I asked to speak to a manager and she wouldn’t even come over to talk. What a horrible experience… Will NOT Patronize this place ever again! Save your money! After 48 minutes wait, the food came out wrong and it wasn’t even that great!
Service is absolutely horrendous. I’ve visited 3 times trying to be positive but each time is the same. Service is slow and waitstaff not a bit friendly. The last time I ordered a slice to go to avoid having to sit and deal with the staff. After waiting 20 minutes I asked the cashier if she could check on it. They never even put the order through. The pizza isn’t even that good. I get asked a few times a day where people should eat in Middletown and I’ll never recommend this place. Silicy wood fire is 10x better with great service
Lovely wait staff great food. We had the garlic bread app and salads. Wonderful dressings and fresh ingredients.
Definitely put this restaurant on your list to try. Took Dad out to dinner so it was the first time going there w/him, my sister & nephew. The service was impeccable & the pizza was so delicious. Definitely will be going back.
We picked up a small sausage pepper and mushroom tonight it was absolutely delicious. The quality of the meat and vegetables are superior to any other pizza restaurant in the area. It is a thin crust cooked in a brick oven With just the right amount of sauce to cheese ratio. I heated up in my convection oven on parchment paper and it crisped it right back like it was fresh out of the oven at the restaurant. It’s a must try, you won’t be disappointed. I almost forgot the service is always very good ?
