Viva La Vida is a quaint Mexican restaurant where everyone is treated like family. It's one thing to get Mexican-American cuisine, but to get true Mexican cuisine appreciated and supported by Mexican people is a great experience. I enjoyed handmade tacos with barbacao beef amd a burrito of the same meat. My wife had enchiladas. Our dear friends who introduced us to Viva La Vida also had the handmade tacos. Fantastic, fresh and ample portions were served by a friendly staff who made us full welcome and full!Easy access on and off I-91, 691 and the Wilbur Cross, Viva La Vida is well worth the stopover.

Delicious Birria at a reasonable price! But wasn’t a fan of the taco bowl.
