I’ve heard this is one of the best pizza places in CT. We have not tried it yet, but the next place on our list. They have multiple types of crust. I think we are going to shoot for the thin crust. Don’t forget to bring cash, they don’t take plastic.
Best kept secret of Meriden
I walked into Little Rendezvous back in 1987 and met Paul while he was spinning up a pizza. He recommended a white clam with bacon and garlic and I was hooked. I averaged 2 or 3 pizzas a week. Always had it well done, that oven did wonderful things for a pizza. I've NEVER found a pizza that tasted as good, even in Italy. BEST of the BEST.Happy to know the tradition carries on after Pauls retirement. If I ever find my way out of Florida back to CT, I'd go out of my way for a white clam pizza. Too bad u don't ship to Florida.
As a New Haven native since moving north years ago I’ve always been searching for a good thin crust new haven style pizza and I’m usually disappointed and make the long drive down 91 for a descent pie. I have to say I’m impressed with the 2 pizzas I ordered here love that coal fired flavor and the sauce had a great taste. Will definitely be making many more orders at little rendezvous in the future so glad I discovered this place.oh and they have foxon park soda a true sign of the best Apizza
You can't get a better pizza in the area. Top 10 in the state easily. True coal fired pizza
Little Rendezvous makes the best pizza ever! like it has been forever!
So much history here! Coal fired is the only way to go if you can and they have been doing this for a very long time! Won't be disappointed!,
The plain graded parmesan pizza is their flagship in my humble opinion. The way the coal fired brick oven complements these simple ingredients, it's art. We get one once a week and never grow tired. Not to mention Steve and his staff are some of the best around!
By far the best pizza around. Cash only
I used to live in Meriden two years ago and my husband and I used to order from here often because it has the BEST new haven style pizza! I had a bad craving for good pizza but now live in Wallingford. So I made the drive here rather than New Haven and I must say I was terribly disappointed. Does not taste how it used to. Dough was tough and way thicker than a "thin crust" should be, cheese tasted rubbery even though I watched them take it out of the oven, and the meat was so tough it was barely chewable. Im not sure if I was left in there too long because I called it ahead a few hours ahead of time but it does not taste good at all
