Excited to go to the new expanded Taco Mi Nacho in Meriden Ct and order my favorite El Pastor Burrito. The place is obviously bigger but my Burrito was a mess. Overloaded with refried beans. Could not taste the pork, and the taste was off. I was disappointed with this order. The size has expanded, but the burrito fell short in flavor. Oh, like everything else price has expanded too.
I have to say I am extremely disappointed with the food here. My partner and I ordered a chicken burrito, flauntas and a steak taco. The food had no flavor at all especially the meat which is the star of the dish.They provide you with chips and salsa, the red salsa was mediocre and so was the green salsa. The service was also terrible. I asked the waiter on 3 occasions for more chips and salsa.I drove all the way from Newington, close to home I normally go to Salsa’s on the Berlin turnpike which has amazing food and when I worked in Meriden for two years I use to eat at Mr. Tacos. Of course the one time I am craving Authentic Mexican cuisine both my go to’s places were closed.When working in Meriden I also heard about Taco mi nachos but I regret coming here. So disappointed. When approaching the server about the disappointment and how the food had no flavor at all he basically made excuses.Waste of money. I hate leaving bad reviews but really just go to Mr. Taco, food there is soooo much better and the service is 10x’s greater.
Always fresh and tasty, everyone is so friendly and they are bilingual!!! I was introduced to this place by a friend and have brought other friends over and over, everyone enjoyed their food every time. Their prices are hard to beat, amazing quality and good sized portions.

A friend and I used to go and eat here and used to love it. I just went back a year later and to my surprised, they had new waitresses . These women were slow, confused, and not customer friendly at all. I guess that I would be looking for another place to Patronized. What happened?
Great food for your money, however, the dining area is too small, and the staff needs more energy when engaging the public. To go is best!
Like always food was super fresh,tasty plenty on the dish,horchata was very home made,my burrito was pack with steak.Service was A+, waitress was super nice.Good authentic Mexican food.
Went there on Sunday not only did they messed up my order but the food quality was very poor I used to love coming to this place but they definitely losing the touch unfortunately you lost a very good customer will not be going there again Very sad and very very very very disappointed ?

The food is great. I stop in because it reminds me of home cooking. I always come home with the red pork and green chili chicken tamales. They provide green and red salsa. I have eaten the steak burrito and tacos. Every time my food has been very good. Get the rice and beans.
