A little disappointed with the Easter holiday menu..two of the 9 or 10 entrees included lamb .only one chicken dish but it was cordon bleu so had prosciutto..i don't eat red meat so only had about 3 choices..i went with the stuffed sole since it was the least expensive.26.00 I think. The other entrees included prime rib, ham,steak,beef Wellington and 2 other seafood..stuffed shrimp, scallops with pasta I think..another chicken dish without ham should have been included and a vegetarian dish would have been nice..Prime rib was very good according to my husband..stuffed sole was good, not great.the chicken cordon blue was good but diner said wouldn't order it again..not bad but not great. Smashed potatoes and green beans rounded out the plates..a complimentary kielbasa appetizer was given to every table as well as very good bread and large salads..no complaints with the service...i just wish I could have seen the menu before making the reservations..i would have picked a different restaurant.not happy with the entree choices this time.
Excellent prime rib and chicken parmesan. Friendly staff. A little noisy due to proximity of tables near the booths. You could hear a lot of the conversations around you.
Went with a group of friends, server (Taylor) was top notch. Clams Casino and calamari apps were on point, class had crispy bacon yet were nice and tender. Calamari were crisp, fresh and tender. Three of us ordered prime rib which was tender, cooked to perfection (medium rare). The other two ordered stuffed clams and the 11 Oz filet. The shrimp were excellent and although the filet was a little more well than medium it was tender and juicy. All around great experience and will be back.
We had another great meal at San Souci. This is a great restaurant that is consistently good. I had Veal Gorgonzola which was awesome. My husband had steak which he said had great taste and was done perfectly. We're very happy things are picking up and the restaurant is open!!!
Had a party of 8, wait staff very nice, attentive, food was very good I got the Penne and it was excellent. The two gentleman that came around to the tables sang and played the accordion were great. It was my husband's birthday and played Sinatra at his requested. My husband has been going to this restaurant for years and loves it.

My first time there and whole belly fried clams in January? They were fresh, sweet and tender. Some if the best I have had! The staff was really friendly and accommodating.
Our calamari was perfect, tender and Krispy. The salad is very large and had plenty of different things in it, the dressings are delicious and the Italian bread is warm and so good. Our calamari entree's we're also perfect, baked scrod and chicken marsala. Oh, and the winter white Cosmo was yummy too. Joe, our server was so personable and very efficient, we'll be back!
Just love this restaurant! We found this place as a mid point to meet up with friends. We each drove approximately 45 minutes and it was absolutely worth it, whether we were going to meet friends or not.First, this is not a chain and so my bar is high. I would call this an old school Italian restaurant. The staff is so attentive and helpful. Classy. They know when to come and when to leave you alone. Nicely dressed and lovely, clean atmosphere. The food is outstanding as are the cocktails. I enjoyed a Cosmopolitan, mushroom stuffed caps and chicken marsala. You will have plenty to eat and the food melted in my mouth. I noticed menu items included classic traditional selections and some not so common ones that I will have to try. I highly recommend trying this restaurant and plan to spend time to enjoy. I'm impressed that as busy as it was, everything came out to us in a timely way and with a beautiful presentation. I don't write many reviews, but want to make sure I send people to the best ones. I highly recommend without hesitation!
