This diner is a treasure. I have always been greeted with a smile and seated within minutes. All menu items are freshly prepared, including the soups. I am a Gyro fan and routinely order a lunch Gyro or Gyro Burger. I have to admit the Gyro burger is "to die for". If you want to dine on the lighter side, I recommend the Greek yogurt and fresh fruit. One last item I need to mention, and is a must, is the hand scooped milk shakes. You will be in Milk Shake Heaven!
Gosh we loved the cozy compact atmosphere. Place was clean and music was on which not to loud! Food was served with big portions as expected and server was very nice lady who continually checked on us! Crab burger was juicy and flavorful!! Must try if you are into crab ?! Food was reasonably priced!
Delicious food done well. Standard dinner menu with plenty of options. Decent coffee, but amazing crispy home fries and corned beef hash. Friendly service as well.
We waited for over twenty minutes for a table when realizing they were seating others before us. When it was made aware to them, they were rude and not accommodating. They need to have a better system when it comes to seating people (like taking names down, if staff is not going to communicate) so this doesn’t happen to others who are hungry after traveling 2+ hours.
Dinner last night and had to return for breakfast this morning! Looks like good basic diner menu but quality surpasses expectations. Fresh, made to order, generous portions. And service is fast and friendly. Worthwhile destination on road trips.

Decent enough breakfast diner. Despite being reasonably busy the food came out quick enough. There wasn't anything breathtaking, but it was definitely passable. Would go again if I was in the area.
I moved to Meriden and I found this dinner and it is awesome.
This was a cute little diner. I love that they try to get as many local products to serve as possible. The staff were great. If my family is ever in the area we will be stopping here again.
A great diner close to I 91 - It’s one of the best things about Meriden. The menu includes Classic diner dishes along with some surprising, delicious new takes on diner your food. Worth a stop Even if you were just passing by.
