Customer service was amazing young man was so dope friendly and was rocking running the store by him self… now my honest review portions first they were definitely great I will say, you get your money worth however I got two pork chop meals plus two additional sides and the pork chops were salty cabbage was way to sweet collard greens to salty Mac and cheese was good the candied yams were amazing…. The restaurant was clean food was nice and hot and I will definitely go back and give them another try… but that young man was simply amazing great employee who loves his job and I respect that!

Went down there today and got myself the chicken dinner with collard greens and mac & cheese and was very pleasantly surprised. This was my first time going to this place, and with any restaurant you go to for the first time, you never know what to expect. The fried chicken was very well seasoned, perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. The greens were absolutely perfect as was the mac & cheese. And the portions served are a very nice size as well. Enough to easily fill a grown man's appetite. Great food, great experience, will definitely be going back!!!
Collard greens were a little high seasoned the day I went, couldn't enjoy them (usually my fav) but overall the food was decent ?
They gave me raw fried chicken the greens was old sitting for hours literally could’ve gotten so sick from this . I don’t know how it’s so hard to check the temperature of the chicken before handing it over to a customer I got no apologies whatsoever. Dude just handed me my money and that’s it . He ain’t even know what to say sick for a business to handle things like this .
The star of the show were the soul egg rolls. Best appetizer I’ve ever had! Everything else was ok too.

Cornbread is the fluffiest, Mac&cheese is nice and cheesy, and the fish sandwich is crispy and well seasoned. Will be returning soon for something else on the menu!! By the way it’s Black Owned????
I'm the Mac n cheese king and these peoples Mac n Cheese is PHENOMENAL. Def worth grabbing.
