Bought pastry here in March for my moms bday. Everything was delicious!! She even ate 2 herself and she was not a big eater. Stopped again this past weekend for a dozen canolli and they were fresh and delicious!
I love this friendly atmosphere, old school hard working people who enjoy baking the good Italian favorites!! Canolli are my favorite!! The best place in the world to get one! I grew up in CT now live in Vermont but everytime I visit CT I have to go here!! Worth the trip!!!
Stopped in with a couple of friends, one who has been here many times. Bought two pastries, which were delicious. I will definitely be back to try their Cannoli which are filled to order. Woman working there was very friendly.

Stayed in Meriden one night on our way to Maine. Came here for breakfast before leaving town in the morning.This is an old school Italian American bakery in the best sense of that term.Pastries galore, we enjoyed sfogliatelle and a blueberry muffin - both baked perfectly and delicious. They make a good cup of coffee too.We bought an assortment of the cookies to share with friends in Maine. The cookies, as we learned later, are also delicious.The Italian style breads looked great and I regret not buying some. Lots of people did.As we sat eating a steady stream of people came and went, buying everything, including beautiful looking cakes.The staff are so friendly, engaging and kind.If you are in Meriden, stop by this bakery, you'll be glad you did.I'm sure the plastic over the counters will come down soon enough. Obviously a holdover from the pandemic but not really serving much purpose now.
First time going. Great owner and pastries are good if there fresh. I had the carrot cake and cup cake and love the icing but surprised how bad the cake was. Im pretty sure if it’s old and there putting it back out. Definitely don’t think it’s baked daily. I wish they would try it and see for themself something isn’t right about it. I’m not sure I’ll return. To bad
