Their Mac & Cheese was really good. I added bread crumbs, jalapeños and broccoli ( I know, I know) but it was delicious to me. The husband ordered a shrimp pasta which was also pretty good. Will definitely revisit. Great host as well!
The Sicilian pizza was not good. After she warmed it up I put it in my car and as I was driving back to work I smelled a smell that was like dirty feet and old cheese. It was my Sicilian. It smells and it was greasy. The other foods I've eaten is delicious. The staff is so sweet.
I usually get the same thing Alfredo with added broccoli & grilled chicken, but let me just say regardless everything I get is super fresh, delicious and absolutely outstanding! I treat myself to Illiano's at least once a week ?BONUS, they are consistently doing things for our town of Meriden! This past week it was donating 10% of orders placed dine in or take out for Benjamin Franklin Elementary school! Which we have kids in so super generous place/owner & great staff! Super friendly & always smiling when I do go inside!
We have only been there twice, our first visit was really good. I found the food to be top-notch. Our second time we went, I got a Drunken Noodles Italian style and this was just off the hook. The waitress that was serving us was just great! I think we had her last time as well and she's just a fantastic person on top of a great waitress. We don't eat Italian often due to the calorie intake but this is one of our new favorite places
First delivery order with illianos. The girl on the phone was very nice. I ordered a large pizza, 1/2 pepperoni and garlic bread with cheese. The delivery was sooner than the given timeframe and again the delivery man was very very nice. So the food…. The pizza looked good as first impression. The pepperoni was evenly distributed and the cheese was balanced. Only critique I have is the slicing. It’s not cohesive and the slices are massive and weren’t fully cut through. Otherwise the pizza was solid. The garlic bread on the other hand was disappointing. There was no crunch, the cheese was a thick hard slab, and I was missing the garlicy goodness in which should be in garlic bread. Overall it was a soft sub roll with boring cheese. not even a good dash of oregano on top or anything. Garlic. Read I’m being nice and giving you a 2. Overall food is decent, would get the pizza but not the bread. Staff super efficient and friendly.
FORGET NEW HAVEN PIZZA. YES I SAID IT. IT'S TRASH. Legit need to drive to Meriden and get a couple slices of Illiano's Grandma pizza. I will never have anyone else's pizza again. Idk id it's the sauce or the gooey cheese or just the overall freshness but the pizza is BOMB. The girls are always friendly and deserve tips. Food expensive but worth it. I literally get slices of Grandma and the Honey Chorizo or whatever. Spend like $20 or so and they will warm them up and still taste fresh like it came out the oven. Stop reading the review and get in ya vehicle. ?

My family has been ordering from Jimmy's since it was in Wallingford because he promised free items for loyalty and never paid up. My son had us try Illianos the other day and we now have a new loyalty! Illianos is WAAAAY BETTER!!

They have the best local pizza in Middletown & Meriden CT! Enjoy a huge slice or order a great pizza off their Italian inspired menu. So many tasty choices, always hot, never burnt and sometimes they give you a sample of their cheese pizza while waiting for your order at the Middletown location.
