Tried the tacos, burrito, and tamale. Everything was delicious and super fresh. Staff is really nice and service is fast. The place is really cute with lots of snacks, drinks, and grocery items too. Will be back.
Authentic Mexican restaurant. Made the ground beef tacos special for me and made a marinated pork tostada special for me. Great service, great people, check it out, Lewis Ave. Meriden, right down the street from the Meriden square mall.

Frida Restaurant, se a convertido en nuestro lugar favorito, por su muy buen servició siempre tratándonos con mucha amabilidad y muy limpio, pero sobre todo por el auténtico sabor mexicano de una comida fresca recién hecha. Lo Recomiendo al 100%

Wow, was I surprised with Frida Restaurant and Grocery. As always I brought one of my kids to dinner and opinion. First off the owner greeted us with a huge smile and brought us to a table. The place was spotless and well decorated. Offering both food and groceries Frida's had a nice mix. Now to the food. As you can see we ordered a Taco Salad and several tacos. The servings were large and cooked as soon as we ordered. Sometimes food sits there and then is served at some restaurants. Not here. The Taco Salad offered well seasoned beef over a bed of lettuce with beans, corn, tomato, cilantro and more. Delicious and well presented. We ordered Camita which is deep fried pork, Al Pastor which is marinated pork with pineapple, Chorizo and Pescado fish tacos. All large and excellent. We then went to the Grocery store section and grabbed some Chorizo and Mango Juice. The grocery section has everything you are looking for. Five stars.
Warm, beautiful people serving hot delicious food. What a lovely restaurant with so many great menu choices! I got Birria tacos and it came with lime, cilantro, Onion, and radish on the side and it made for an amazing dinning experience! Each bite was delicious! Delicious salsa! Definitely my new favorite restaurant in town! 10/10
