First time, but certainly not the last. I work in the service industry and understand how important it is to make a guest experience worth while. Everyone from the host to Alex our server, Luke the general manager and everyone in between that stopped at our table made us feel welcomed and taken care of. My husband is very hesitant about trying new places, but our server Alex immediately turned his mood around. The food was great! I LOVE Italian food and I told my husband this is our new spot. Drinks were tasty and so was dessert. We can’t wait to stop by again. Thank you for such a wonderful first visit.
Impeccable service, comfortable atmosphere, incredibly delicious food from the appetizers to desserts (we had Calamari, Brussels sprouts, penne with shrimp, risotto with chicken, and this incredible pork chop you just wouldn't believe, followed by flawless flourless chocolate cake and creme brulee.) Exceptional beverages to accompany each course.Highly recommended.
Just shy of loving it, actually. 4.7. En route location brought us here looking at GPS recommendations. Intimate environment, timely server, and decent drinks from the bar.The arancini appetizer was different in that they were not the traditional larger size. A petite plate brought four small rice balls with a mayo mix folded into the rice, the server described, though noted their arancini recipe changes regularly. The double Frenched bone pork chop was stellar. Juicy, tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly... something to order again. The Veal Francesco with eggplant and prosciutto was also delicious. All of the food ordered had fine presentation.
I have been following the owners social media for years, with all the food plates and specials, as they are my past clients, and today my family and I went for mothers day dinner. I have to say this restaurant will be my Italian restaurant to go from now on. From the employees, that most are family of the owner, to the menu, that has the family recipes, and the ambience to the food is all amazing you will not be disappointed and will feel like home. Traditional Italian food with a hint of family traditions and way of cooking.
Fantastic food. just like mom used to make!!!
I was looking for a restaurant to go to for an impromptu Friday night meal and was pleasantly surprised to find this place! Easy navigable menu, great food and cocktails, accommodating/friendly service, and a great price point. Well worth a repeat visit.
Food was delicious. The bread was very tasty, the appetizers were wonderful, and both my dining partner and I enjoyed our entrees.
Everything perfect start to finish! Great service, and all apps, dinner, drinks, and desserts were excellent! We were a party of 4 somewhat fussy diners, and Trattoria Toscana delivered the goods for a wonderful dining experience! We will be back!!!
Wonderful food and our server Dom was one of the best we have had ever, non stop smiling and helpfulness made it an over the top experience!
We went this past Sunday for the 1st time, and walked into an attractive restaurant with very good service and nice music. We sat in the bar area and started off with the eggplant rollatini and pumpkin arancini. The eggplant was tasty and ricotta velvety-smooth. The eggplant was sliced a little thicker than I prefer, however, and wasn't quite cooked all the way through. The creamy sherry vinaigrette drizzled atop the arancini (tasty as well) was sparse also. The chicken piccata was very good and contained plenty of capers. Unfortunately, the veal parmesan was pounded so thin it was completely overtaken by the thick breading, which was also overly salty. The marinara sauce was very good, however. I was pleasantly surprised when told I could substitute for any pasta they had, including gnocchi. I also wasn't told there was a $3 upcharge but it does stand to reason I suppose. I was given 6 gnocchi in a little soup bowl drowned in sauce. It resembled soup. They couldn't be picked up with a fork, falling apart with each attempt. The gnocchi had an overly creamy custard-like consistency. Not ideal. The creme brulee and peach cobbler were great. No free soda or iced tea refills, however, which is rare. Not sure we'll be back.
