Beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy a meal af Mulberry Pizza. Unfortunately we sat for 20 minutes when I finally asked the waitress waiting on the table next to ours that we were ready to order. Instead of taking our order she said she would find a waiter who never appeared. We left and will not be coming back- very, very disappointing. Instead went to Main Pub, sat outside and we were waited on immediately:)
This eatery with its Pub ambiance is worth the wait!! The place is very popular and stays Full because of the exceptional Customer service and food and drinks to die for! Mussels cooked just right and calzones so big its a 2 person share! The pizza has many different varieties and the thin crusts really makes it stand out from all the rest.Cocktails and craft beer's is the perfect finish to the meals. Great value for the money! This is definitely a C.T.Best Dinning Experience !! Love it!!!
I will have to update this post with more pictures each time I come. I have come for dinner, happy hourand in-between. My boyfriend and I are new to the area and this has been the first place where we actively come back instead of trying somewhere new. As a child, the #1 pizza in New Jersey was down this street. The Richie Rich takes top spot in my opinion for #1 best "plain" (no meat or wild toppings) pizza that I've ever had. We've tried desserts and different appetizers, too, and everything has been a grand slam. This is my new favorite place in our new little town. Even if there is a wait for a table, it is worth the wait.
3/5/22 I went for my Birthday with family and it was awesome. The staff was great even while over worked. Drinks while waiting was fast and strong!!!! 6 of us split pizzas and apps and it was all so yummy. The seating was perfect. Tall glass dividers helped the sound stay in so you could hear hear while it was busy. Love the atmosphere and food options. Great menu wow! Def be back!
Did someone say Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich? Yes, please! It was great! Be sure to check the menu as things often change -- and always for the better. Each time we go, the staff is pleasant and accomodating.
The pizza is decent New Haven style, but I can’t for the life of me figure out why a large pizza with 3 toppings on each side is $38, when the most loaded special pizza with same overall amount of toppings is $25. A pizza with 3 toppings on each side has the same amount of toppings overall as a 3 topping pizza, right? Am I missing something here? Maybe I’m paying a premium for a half and half since you’d rather sell me two separate pies, but 50% extra seems a bit steep to say the least. No thanks.
My girlfriend and I come here quite often so we've had quite a bit of their stuff.Overall mulberry is a very nice restaurant and bar with a great staff.Drinks:- The drinks are good and what you would expect from a bar. They have some specials worth trying.- The prices alone are cheaper than most places which is a surprise. Expect about 8 a drink.Food:- Food here is excellent in my opinion. The wraps and sandwiches they have are quite nice and the apps are insanely good.- The nacho dish is massive, so it's definitely worth the cost and you'll probably be full for 2 people.- The calzones are a huge upset and are way too overpriced. I once got one to try and there was only filling in the middle, about half of it is just just cheese and breading. It was somewhere around 26$ and honestly didn't fill me. Pass on these unless you can't eat anything else.- The chicken sandwich is like a Chick-fil-A sandwich on crack, definitely try it!- They have a pork belly sandwich, it wasn't bad but wasn't good either. Most other items in the menu are pretty good though.- Very good and interesting selection for specialty pizza, you'll be stuck between 3 or 4 that you'll want to try for sure.- Prices for food are a bit high, but the quality is very good.- If you get a sandwich, add the onion rings for $2 and you won't regret it. They have some really unique onion fries/rings!Service:- We came in here once playing Pokemon go and they remembered us since. Kept coming back sporadically and every single time they knew us- They don't rush you or try to get you out the door and give you space. Our waitress let us play for a while and said when we're ready we can flag her down, how awesome!- The most recent time we came they remembered our order to the T, the last time we were there was over a month since that visit, crazy!Other:- Bathroom is tight to get into as the hallway blocks the entrance kind of, just an irk.- Manchester history is shown all over so it's cool to see and read it either in the bathroom or observe on the walls in the restaurant.- Dining is somewhat casual, nothing fancy but typical restaurant vibes. Never got too loud where you have to shout to the person sitting next to you.
Very friendly owner and all employees. A desirable array of DELICIOUS items on the whole menu ! Appetizers, Salads, Pizzas, Calzones, Pasta, Sandwiches, Side dishes, SPECIALTIES Entrees. Good liquid bar choices.
Awesome pizza! Always get the Wizard of Oz and it's great New Haven style pizza. Wait is long beware
This is very good thin pizza. I have never been a fan of cheese pizza but my daughter is a vegetarian doesn't eat meat. Their cheese pizza almost got made converted. ? The meat pizza all good! Just moved into the area and have tried several places but this one has proven to be the one we like. We order one every week! The staff is nice and friendly too.
